Ristorante La Darsena In Bellano

The location and atmosphere is great. It is very near to the lake Como so the breeze is refreshing. The food is Ok but the prices are very high compared to the neighboring restaurants. The staff is good but the order takes a bit of time to receive. Can be tried once. There were very few parking spaces nearby so we had to park the car more than 1 km. from the restaurant but this is not specific to the restaurant since this is because of no space availability in that entire area.

The rice with perch with butter and sage is highly recommended!! We will be back to eat the pizzoccheri!!

High prices for very simple dishes. Overall ok but nothing more

Molto bene perché gli sciatt non sono, come da troppe altre parti, arido, scarbontito esito del microonde, e di stento formaggio; e molto bene perché i pizzoccheri nuotano nel burro sapido, non l’hanno dovuto scordare in un’aridità demoralizzante. Ottimo il vino valtellinese, più che sufficiente il dolce, in forma di Tiramisù. Tavolo vista lago e cime innevate. Conto nella media (un poco pretenziosa) dell’oggi. Vi sono tornato. Spero di tornarvi.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante io e mia moglie e ci è piaciuto molto. Piatti con pesce di lago e specialità valtellinesi. Buona lista vini bel locale e servizio.

Restaurant in Bellano (the town of the famous writer Andrea Vitali) discovered about a couple of years ago. We go there because it offers Valtellina cuisine, which we really like. We always take the same two typical dishes: sciatt served with chicory and pizzoccheri. The sciatt, which I have eaten several times also in Valtellina, in my opinion can be improved even if quite good, the pizzoccheri on the other hand are well made and respect Teglio's recipe (it's a shame that the portion is necessarily for 2 people and a little small). The restaurant has a lake view, is cute and well kept, with an open kitchen. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom Ok. Large spaces between one table and another and therefore ease of movement and respected privacy. Booking on weekends is recommended. Average prices.

Pleasant and large restaurant with a view of the lake🥰 We visited on a weekday in January and, to my surprise, there was only one chef. Sure he worked like a bee, but when there are 15 people waiting for lunch, it's a little difficult. We also waited a long time 🥴 The dishes were all very tasty, even if the portions were a little small. The waiters are very kind.
