11/05/2024: Guys, look no further: this place is what you’ve been looking for! The outdoor location is perfect, simple but elegant (and Vitorchiano is just the perfect stroll for your full bellies..). The staff is attentive, funny and (important for my ignorant self) speaks English, without being pushy. And the food… Madonna, it’s not fancy and it does not need to be because it’s all what you need: They offer different concepts of traditional pizzas, for sure some of the best I ever had. The pancanella with local braised fish, though not for the faint hearted I suppose, was special. And the pollo i peppe simply BLEW my mind (while the waiter insisted I would eat it with my hands): like a good wine in the right setting it let me travel back to my childhood - yes, just like in the movies.. My limited expertise of wines wasn’t a problem since the regional selection is great, so was the dessert. It’s what you call slow food, good food that can make a night, a very worthy experience.
