A splendid refuge in a stunning location! The hosts are kind and welcoming (the information requested via email could be improved, as it's a bit brief and hasty). There's a family atmosphere. The cuisine is excellent, with generous and authentic dishes. It's also an ideal starting point for excursions.

A welcoming and quaint restaurant nestled in the woods at an altitude of 1,500 meters, on the road to Preda Rossa. Excellent for lunch or dinner, with a wide selection of delicious local dishes, or even a quick stop for a simple coffee and a slice of their delicious cakes.

We had lunch on August 18th with a group of nine people. The welcome was wonderful. Mr. Costante and his wife were very kind. The dishes were plentiful and delicious, as per tradition, and served without a wait. A charming place. An experience to definitely repeat.

We've become regulars, coming here several times a year. Spectacular food and very fair prices! Honest and very kind staff! A relaxing place in the middle of nature, just a short distance from the spectacular Prega Rossa Valley!

A beautiful spot in nature. Easily accessible, even for those with disabilities. We booked the day before for lunch for eight people. The dishes are typical, hot, and ready to go, in a place that exudes the traditional flavor of a mountain refuge. I highly recommend it.

20/01/2026: We absolutely LOVED Camana Veglia. We had the best experience there for dinner that we went back twice. The food was excellent, it was honestly so so delicious. Our favourites were the venison spaghetti, salt cod ravioli and the pigeon. The chefs are very talented and it was the best meal we had in Livigno. The service was amazing, we had the lovely Moroccan man serving us both times and he was so friendly and helpful with the menu. The Sommelier too was great, we had some delicious local wines and he helped us pick the best ones. A really great experience. Would come back to Livigno just to eat there again!
17/01/2026: If you want a culinary experience in Livigno, this is the place to be. Not cheap, but worth it. You're paying for a quiet place, top-notch service, exquisite wine, superb bread in three different flavors, all homemade, top-notch presentation, and top-notch wine. Truly delicious food, an experience. Thank you.

30/09/2025: Enchanting place, super welcoming and kind owners! Prices in line with the location, altitude, and management! The complaints in the negative comments should be more objective and take all factors into account! Highly recommended! The pizzoccheri are dreamy! PS: The only lodge open on September 28th in Val Zebrù!
26/09/2025: We passed by on July 23rd: we had booked a refuge, but along the trail a family recommended we stop here for the quality of the food. I can 100% confirm that the food is excellent: the tiramisu, in particular, is among the best I've ever tasted, if not the best. Highly recommended! A place to return to not only for the food, but also for the scenery and the warm welcome from the owners.
