I'm returning after decades; I used to stop by as a kid in the 1990s when I went to school in Otranto from Casarano. The cream-filled monachina was delicious, and the Lecce coffee was excellent.

A regular appointment on Sundays and also for special occasions, Fracasso never disappoints... from the pasticciotto to its inimitable monachina, to the bocche di dama, to the cassatine to the cakes, everything is exceptional... Highly recommended

It often happens that traditions, grace, and courtesy are lost over time. This certainly isn't the case with Totò Fracasso's pastry shop, which so kindly and courteously treated me to a delicious almond paste lamb for Easter, embodying all the flavors and aromas of Maglie's tradition. Courtesy, respect, and professionalism deserve top marks!!!

Every time I'm in Maglie I can't help but stop by this pastry shop to taste their specialty, the Monachina, with sweet, warm cream that melts in your mouth, a fantastic sensation, and then the attentive and very kind staff, a place where they make you feel good, I recommend it 👍

07/07/2026: Spectacular restaurant, everything delicious and fresh. The quality is top notch and the price is affordable. Nothing to comment on, we were in Gallipoli three nights and ate here two in a row. SIMPLY FANTASTIC.

MATISSE

03/05/2026: We ate here on Labor Day (a national holiday in Italy). Because Italians mainly celebrate this day with family and friends around lunchtime, we, along with two other tourist couples, were the only guests in this restaurant. That was a shame for the atmosphere. No Italian family coziness. Anyway, we had a delicious meal! The two waiters were attentive, spoke English, and did their job well (we did have to pour the wine ourselves from the bottle, but that didn't matter). It is a beautiful place with a lovely terrace as well for the warm summer evenings that are sure to come.
19/04/2026: A superb restaurant, which in France would be considered a bistro. It was quiet out of season, the service was very pleasant, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious.
