Osteria Tiresia In Rimini

26/05/2024: Suggestive location, immersed in the Rimini hills. Nice and panoramic restaurant. The booking made on WhatsApp was friendly and quick. I found the restaurant by trusting the advice of friends and the reviews I read; consequently expectations were very high. I must admit that we were quite disappointed by the service: our enthusiasm was in fact dampened by the wait, first for the menu, then for the drinks and finally for the dishes. The waiter who served us, evidently inexperienced and awkward, came back twice to ask for confirmation of our order, he seemed disorganized and not very empathetic. I had this impression of almost all the dining room staff, even though the room wasn't very full it seemed like they were enough messed up and not very synchronized. The food, quite good, did not particularly impress us, mainly because the less than positive experience of the service compromised the entire experience. For example, the cockerel seemed very good to me but, following the waiter's advice, we ordered half of it for two people; as a consequence we were unable to fully enjoy it. A positive note for the owner, who seemed kind, helpful and passionate. All in all we will try to give this place a second chance, perhaps trying the pool area and the aperitif.
