I end up in this place by chance and am struck by its attention to treating and offering a delicious and varied alternative for those who suffer from various intolerances, such as gluten, lactose and salt. all the others at my table were also able to appreciate their proposals for typical dishes I highly recommend it and the parking is also convenient

We ate here on Easter Monday, you need to book in advance, the mixed platter with local specialties is worth it, good quality/price ratio

I have had few opportunities to have lunch in the Langhe, but this place will be an excellent excuse to return!! Very nice location. Very good starter, it melted in your mouth and you could feel the freshness and quality of the product, the first courses were excellent. We couldn't choose so we decided to try them all :) and we were super satisfied!! And finally the desserts. Really good. We would have liked to do an encore of everything. Furthermore, they also have a good choice of wines. The staff is very kind and prepared. We thank Mr. Davide for his hospitality. We will definitely be back. Super recommended!!

Perfect lunch, excellent food and impeccable staff

Passing through Barolo, I stopped for lunch at the "Cantinella": first positive note, finding a place on a Saturday without a reservation! Beautiful environment, with brick vaults that immediately give the impression of being "in the cellar"; very friendly and attentive service. Very good dishes, with the great Piedmontese classics: the mixed platter is excellent as are the plin, the tartare, the braised meat and the tajarin! Good wine list, with a very good quality/price ratio! I'm counting on €50 per person, which given the place and historical moment I would define as adequate. The only flaw, in retrospect: if on the one hand the €3 cover charge is justified by the excellent bread, on the other it is less so given the non-fabric table linens. For the rest, all good!

All good but personally the fassona tartare with capers was not well balanced, you could feel too much of the taste of the caper and not of the meat which seemed to be tender and fresh

Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo per una cena con 8 persone e arriviamo leggermente in anticipo. Il locale accogliente e pulito è ancora vuoto quindi ci accomodiamo nella speranza di essere serviti rapidamente. Ci vengono consegnati i menu e portato il pane con le bevande ; acqua e una bottiglia di Nebbiolo per incominciare. Nel frattempo si accomodano tre coppie e notiamo che vengono servite rapidamente prima di noi. Solo quando il locale si sta riempiendo si avvicina il cameriere per prendere le ordinazioni. Chiediamo due taglieri, veramente molto interessanti, da dividere tra tutti prima di avere gli antipasti per ognuno. Degli antipasti ho apprezzato la battuta di fassona con crema e farina di nocciole. Poi purtroppo, con locale pieno, abbiamo dovuto aspettare parecchio i primi ed i secondi, forse perchè hanno voluto servirli tutti contemporaneamente. Sta di fatto che alcuni secondi, pur buoni, sono stati serviti tiepidi o quasi freddi come la mia lingua con salsa rossa. Non ho fatto rimostranze, ma per il livello del ristorante queste sono attenzioni che si devono avere. Poi altra lunga sosta per avere i dolci che comunque abbiamo tutti apprezzato. In sostanza, bel locale, buona cucina, ma servizio da migliorare.
