A truly charming place, this elegant inn nestled in an ancient farming village in the Collio Friulano region, just a stone's throw from Gorizia, near the splendid city of Aquileia and the Grado lagoon. Everything is perfect, from the meticulously designed furnishings in both the rooms and common areas to the friendly staff, attentive to guests' every need and full of valuable local information. The lush garden offers rare moments of relaxation, and the wine bar, where you can enjoy homemade wines, offers pleasant breaks, including aperitifs and organic tastings. It's a true pleasure to find establishments where the principles of hospitality are so alive. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

The staff, especially Mr. Lorenzo, were excellent, friendly, and helpful. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained, as was the bathroom. The simple dinner was delicious, especially accompanied by an excellent Merlot from the on-site wine bar. We were in an emergency situation due to a car breakdown, and the staff's help was simply fantastic and deserves a special thank you.

30/11/2025: This is the fourth time we've dined here. We've always had a great time and always left great reviews. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the service today. We weren't greeted at our table (we had reservations), and we had to ask for menus after 15 minutes of being seated. The food arrived almost an hour later. After an hour and a half of waiting, we thought the salads and sides had been forgotten. We asked for the bill and were told we still had to finish our order. I replied that I thought they'd forgotten, given the biblical times. We ate, exhausted from waiting so long. We paid and didn't receive a word of apology, not even a digestive. Nothing. The table next to ours, five people who arrived two minutes after us, while we were still waiting for our salads, were already having coffee and the bill. Something went wrong today; it was as if we were invisible. I don't know if we'll be back again. It's a shame because the food is excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
13/11/2025: I went with a group of people and we had a great time. We ate a delicious chestnut cream soup, a risotto with red radicchio and Taleggio cheese, and some truly phenomenal stewed meatballs. The quality and price were truly unbeatable. Everyone was incredibly kind and friendly. Next time I have a group to take, I'll already know where to go. Highly recommended!!
