Ora Blu Ristorante In Rapallo

I rarely recommend a restaurant based on a single meal, but this is the case. Ora Blu was a pleasant surprise, both for its cuisine, service, and location. We were particularly impressed by the pasta with clams and the mixed grilled fish. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly, preserving the freshness and authentic flavor of the fish. Truly excellent. We felt truly welcomed by the lovely Michela. I highly recommend Ora Blu in San Michele di Pagana, a quaint, colorful, and quiet village between Rapallo and Santa Margherita, where you can also enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Tigullio Gulf and the Riviera!

A friend and I happened upon this place by chance. It was lunchtime and we were drawn in by the truly inviting smell of fish... we were just looking for a quick bite. Fantastic experience. First course: spaghetti with garlic, oil, chilli pepper and prawns. I've never had anything so good, spicy but just the right amount. Then there was the mixed fried fish, which tasted like fresh fish, and above all, the fried food was done properly (which is rare nowadays). A glass of prosecco... fantastic, and I'll add that I couldn't stomach it! The staff were lovely... So I totally approve!

Last lunch before driving off for our return trip, this is a memorable one, all dishes done to perfection, great portions and fair prices while being served by a lady with nice smile & under the sound of waves crashing! Recommended, but… Only after paying I get to see that she charged us €20 for 2 glasses of local Vermentino wine, while a bottle would cost €30. I would’ve liked a bottle, but as said; had to drive alot right after. And no we didn’t know upfront as the wine list only specifies per bottle price. Fair is different. -2 stars for this scam.

Beautiful spot on the beach. The food was delicious, especially the tuna! And the service was super friendly and helpful!

Last Friday, my husband and I had dinner at this restaurant; we weren't familiar with it. Excellent food, excellent service, and a beautiful beachfront location. Absolutely excellent value. Without a second thought, we booked for the following evening as well. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience, a location practically on the seafront, impeccable service. A sincere thank you to Denisa, who made us feel at home with her professionalism and kindness. The food was all delicious and incredibly fresh, the best during our stay in Liguria. The gluten-free options were also good. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!

An excellent restaurant to enjoy fresh seafood

What a find! A brief look at the menu drew us in, cozy atmosphere and really excellent service! The dishes have a fantastic twist to them, traditional but also creative. For starters we had fresh mussels, tuna tartare on avocado and mango, grilled octopus. Already fantastic! Very fresh! For seconds, the tuna in pistacchio crust was outatanding, I rate this best tuna of this kind I ever had! The gambas Portofino were also delicious, very aromatic refreshing sauce. Same for the risotto with scallops! Outstanding was also Franco, very kind and friendly service - thank you so much also for the gift! Highly recommended if you are a foody love to eat fantastic food 👍🏼😌
