The location of this restaurant, which is actually a traditional local farm, is aesthetically pleasing with its charming traditional building and captivating scenic views. Our small group decided to sample a variety of dishes. The schlutzkrapfen (traditional South Tyrol ravioli) proved to be delightful, while the canederli (bread balls) were skillfully prepared and enjoyable. However, our disappointment arose from the wild deer meat, which turned out to be excessively tough and chewy, rendering it inedible. Regrettably, this was the sole meat option available, both with pasta and canederli, which detracted from the overall experience. This may have been due to insufficient cooking time. Another minor inconvenience, regrettably becoming a common occurrence, was the restaurant's practice of overcharging for tap water. In conclusion, I would recommend visiting this establishment while advising caution regarding the wild deer meat. Additionally, I would suggest diversifying the menu by including alternative meat options.

Beautiful hut in wooden shingles. Stunning view of the Latemar and Catinaccio. Delicious cuisine. Very kind service. Try the homemade schlutzkrapfen (spinach ravioli) (mouth-watering - ate 2 dishes) and the platter of mixed cheeses produced on site. The only flaw is the deer goulash (wildgericht) which is a little too tough

Super homemade quality and equally outstanding, always friendly service! Great buttermilk and home-baked cakes. Top cheese - also to take away. Tip: Freeze mountain cheese or red wine cheese at home and enjoy it weeks or months later while remembering the magnificent view of the rose garden. 😀 Heavenly!
