The fried fish disappointed me a little because the calamari was rubbery and difficult to chew and the prawns had not been cleaned... for the price I expected something completely different. In addition to the fact that the breading was little and not very crunchy. Decent pasta, nothing exceptional. The dessert is good. Kind service. All things considered, it's a bit expensive for what it offers and the quality of the food.

Simple and clean room, very nice inn with a nice outdoor garden. I don't give full marks only because of the presence of the train about 100 meters away which could annoy some at night (even if it rarely passes)

What praise for this authentic "cucina casalinga" restaurant located along via Aurelia with all the facilities and the smile and advice of its very friendly staff;
Finally a reasonable addition for 3 epicureans with "primi & secondi, meat, Bolgheri wine (2x b), accompaniments - from 50 € per person (!)

The restaurant is very nice, the staff is friendly but I found the menu a little narrower than in the summer, maybe I'm remembering wrong.
However, the pasta is very good

I spent the Easter weekend 2024 in Castagneto Carducci and Marina di Castagneto together with my wife and son. I had the immense pleasure of returning to the Menabuoi inn, to taste the genuine and delicious cuisine on their menu. Apart from the goodness of their Florentine steaks and ribs, divinely cooked with culinary wisdom, we also appreciated the starters (the bruschetta, tasty and delicate), the first courses (such as the pappardelle alla poracconiera, much appreciated by my son) and the desserts such as the delicious apple pie or millefeuille revisited in "decomposed millefeuille with fiordilatte ice cream and berries" mode. The past evenings were 03/28 and this Easter evening 03/31, which will remain in the family's nostalgic memories. Congratulations and congratulations again for the competence, kindness and hospitality that characterize you. Joseph
