La Fontana In Corvara in badia

Very nice guesthouse, great restaurant with fine Italian food, very nice staff who also speak German. The boss and his wife run the guesthouse and the restaurant with a lot of love - everyone is very friendly

One of the very few restaurants open in the evening at the beginning of October and therefore packed with people. High prices, I would say exaggerated (e.g. pappardelle for 16 euros) as seems to be a must in Alta Badia, very nice environment, a helpful and quick waitress but... it's impossible that something doesn't slip away. I think due to an oversight, my dumplings (also delicious) in broth were actually in hot water but the manager, very correct, offered a discount. A slice of dessert for 9 euros or water for more than 4 are honestly exaggerations that are difficult to justify.

This review is for the restaurant only. Staying nearby, we discovered La Fontana mid-week. Both of us had the pappardelle with wild boar, which was phenomenal. The desserts are all home-made and delicious. Such a great experience with the staff, we visited again at the end of the trip.

Siamo stati qui con amici per pranzo, cibo ottimo, personale gentilissimo, ambiente molto accogliente e prezzi in linea con la zona. Da ritornare sicuramente!

Bel locale, buon cibo con un eccellente servizio del cameriere, Andrea se ben ricordo, professionale e gentilissimo, un vero valore aggiunto. Prezzi in linea con Corvara, leggermente sotto la media. Consigliatissimo
