16/07/2026: Here's a more incisive version:
It's been a long time since I've been back to this restaurant, and I remember it as a place where the food was truly good. The dishes I choose when I eat Chinese are always the same, so the comparison with the past was inevitable. We ordered spring rolls and rice noodles with shrimp and curry.
Unfortunately, things have changed over time. There used to be a convenient set lunch menu with an appetizer, first course, second course, water, and coffee; today, you only eat à la carte. Meanwhile, prices have gone up, while portions and quality, in my opinion, have significantly declined.
The portions, in particular, left me very disappointed: compared to the past, they're decidedly smaller, and even compared to those of other Chinese restaurants, they're truly meager. The rice noodles, which are usually served in generous portions, here were few, lightly seasoned, and with just three shrimp. Even the spring rolls aren't what they used to be: they used to serve one large one, now they serve two very small ones.
Overall, I wasn't entirely impressed with the quality-price ratio, and I think you can eat better in the area for the same amount, if not less.
I don't think we'll be back.
06/06/2026: Coming back here is a step back in time: we're stuck in the 90s when the first Chinese restaurants (Chinese no sushi) were starting to open, and it was a great novelty. As a regular at this type of place, I can say that I've rediscovered the ancient flavors of a time when all-you-can-eat Chinese food didn't exist, but rather authentic, carefully prepared Chinese food. I rediscovered the tang of ginger in the ravioli, and I rediscovered her: the sublime fish, mushroom, and beaten egg soup that seemed extinct. What can I say? I'll be back! Remembering with the palate is always wonderful. :-) Very kind in serving... undeniable care and grace.
