Hotel Residence Thalguter In Lagundo

Great accommodation with excellent breakfast. We will be back.

We received a super-quick response to our request with a great offer. I also like the idea of ​​the Massenger and the communication was very friendly. Since we couldn't vacation at Thalguter's for other private reasons, I can't comment on the room. But my impression was positive all around.

Young concept, a dream location with 5* breakfast. We booked the Thalguter because of its elevated location above Lagundo (approx. 10 minutes' walk via Grabachweg to the center). After over 30 years of vacationing in Lagundo in a variety of accommodations, we have found our perfect house in Thalguter. Very pleasant hosts, check-in and communication in advance were super easy. The two houses (holiday apartments and rooms) are connected by a very well-kept garden and are well maintained. We stayed in a double room on the 1st floor. We were surprised by the size and especially by the perfect cleanliness. This standard is not found in some 5* hotels. For a clear view of the valley, it is best to book the 2nd or 3rd floor. Refrigerator in the room, in the house there are also chilled drinks (wine, beer, soft drinks) at fair prices for self-service. The bar had great drinks on offer until 9pm. The guest room/breakfast room has been renovated in a modern alpine style and very lovingly decorated. Our absolute highlight was the breakfast buffet. The Thalguter works really sustainably and the products are all regional without exception. From a variety of cold cuts, ham, bacon, a selection of cheeses, really fresh fruit salad, vegetables, yoghurt, muesli, juices, coffee specialties to egg dishes prepared a la minute such as omelets, scrambled eggs and fried eggs, all of this makes up a 5* breakfast for us. We thought it was great that only small portions were served, but the food was constantly refilled. This is sustainability in action. In our opinion, the cheese came from the Algund cheese dairy, so it wasn't supermarket cold cuts, it was simply delicious. The wellness area in the basement with indoor pool and sauna has been completely renovated and is very nice to relax in. Here too, the cleanliness is really perfect. The lawn with terrace and winter garden are wonderful for having breakfast outside in the summer or sitting together in the evening. We were one hundred percent satisfied and can recommend the Thalguter 100%.
