Il locale si affaccia sulla principale piazza di Monforte, da cui parte la strada che sale verso la parte più interessante di questo bellissimo borgo.
La nostra esperienza è stata totalmente positiva.
Abbiamo iniziato con una tenerissima tartare di fassona, a seguire spaghetti al sugo di salsiccia di Bra e, per finire, non ci siamo fatti mancare un dessert (spaziale il tiramisù della casa con nocciole). Porzioni giuste, così come giusto il prezzo.

To the question "do they know how to make Piedmontese cuisine?" I would answer yes! Central location, along the river, easily reachable from Canelli (absolutely worth a visit!) kind and courteous staff, old-fashioned service. Excellent quality of food and oh well, it's easy for the area, excellent wines! Portions that due to their size do not exclude quality.
Sweet, bitter, coffee and grappling essential after an 8-9 course Sunday lunch. Come in if you're hungry!

Place located right in the main square of the town. We stopped for lunch and it was all really great. Really good traditional Piedmontese dishes, attentive and kind waiters, quick service, normal prices. Highly recommended

We happened upon this restaurant after the one we had booked in another town, was unexpectedly closed. The staff were exceedingly welcoming and friendly and we had a lovely porcini pasta meal with a salad and a bottle of wine, all very tasty and at a very modest price. We were given a local after dinner drink when we paid our bill.
