Edoardo Il Gelato Biologico In Firenze

Famous places are famous for a reason. If you come to Florence, I highly recommend the gelato here. I visited several gelato shops while visiting Venice and Florence. I observed this while thinking about how to choose a ‘good gelato shop’ that I learned from an Italian. Italians say that because gelato must be fresh, it must be covered and not stacked like a tower. As you can see in the picture, this is exactly the good gelato place I'm looking for. It was very difficult to find a gelato place that had a lid and wasn't piled up like a mountain. Most places sell gelato that is colorful and looks good. But not here. really!! This is a gelato place. Cups cost 6 and 7 euros. Both can contain 4 flavors, and the difference between the two is the amount of gelato included. I ordered salted pistachio, milk somthing, la crema, and strawberry. The milk-based gelato here is delicious. I burst out laughing after taking a bite of La crema gelato. As soon as my group ate it, they burst out laughing and expressed their admiration. I am thankful that I can eat such delicious gelato in my life. If you come to Florence, you must try this gelato. I wish I could try a real gelato place, not one that is just there to lure tourists! There is also a plaza in front of the gelato restaurant where busking takes place at night. I was happy to eat delicious gelato while enjoying a romantic busking experience. This house’s gelato will be the most memorable meal in Florence. The staff was also very friendly

Seriously mind-blowing gelato. Definitely the best I’ve ever tried in my life, and I tried most of the famous spots in Florence and Rome. Get the ‘fresh eggs and lemon zest’ or ‘lavendar, milk and honey’ flavors. Really original and rich flavors that I have never tasted elsewhere.

It's friendly and delicious~ I ate the recommended hazelnut and chocolate, and since I like refreshing things, I ate the mango and lemon, and they were delicious! I have to go again tomorrow to try a different flavor haha.

They make their own cones. Delicious!

I think this is the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Not too sweet, really tasty, and you do not have to guess what you have as the taste is real. Amazing!

Excellent ice cream in the center, which justifies the slightly higher than average prices. Waffle made by them and the scent can also be smelled from outside the restaurant.

I’ve had gelato at over 25 places across Italy and this is simply the best. This is my first stop when I come to Florence. Edoardo’s salted pistachio is loaded with flavor that cannot be duplicated elsewhere. I also really enjoy the salted peanut and have tried most of the flavors and they are all good so you want go wrong. The location is also ideal because you can enjoy your gelato while strolling around the Duomo. What a wonderful pairing!
