You can see that there is a search for details and careful attention to the choice of raw materials behind it. Parma is the gastronomic city of Italy. But among many traditional restaurants and trattorias there is this unforgettable place. For a couple of Brazilian expatriates, who ate very well both in Parma for two years, and in the discoveries made in this world: surprising. It's not too formal, nor does it have the pretension of a Michelin Star. It makes you feel at home with the smiles of the very kind (and also highly trained) waitresses. Quality artisanal cured meats and cheeses, exquisite wines, from all over the world and from small producers, some macerated, whites beyond the obvious. Excellent dishes: they make a pork cheek, too lazy among the Emilian tradition, become a masterpiece. Really intriguing desserts. Kudos to everyone who does an impeccable job at Cortex Bistrot. Highly recommended!

Un paio di sale, arredate informalmente, servizio molto gradevole, competente. I piatti sono rivisitati con accostamenti non banali, molto piacevoli al gusto! Una delle cene migliori tra quelle sperimentate in città.

We were here 1 year ago and Cortex has become our favorite restaurant in Parma. Creative cuisine utilizing herbs and spices from anywhere in the world. I wish we had time for a second visit. Prices are reasonable for the quality and their wine choices always worth listening to. The entire staff is excellent. You are in good hands here. Pet friendly. Reserve.
