A historic restaurant with a quiet and pleasant environment, fairly fast service and friendly and helpful staff.
the food was well presented, the vegetables and EVO oil with organic certification were excellent, the caciocavallo all'Argentiera was good, the pasta was a little dry even though the seasoning was particularly abundant. There are tables available both inside and outside at street level.

We returned yesterday after many years. Excellent food and comfortable environment. Unfortunately we were placed near the entrance door which implies comings and goings and cold air. A curious addition to the service is the cost of the dishes of 10 euros.

On the main street of the historic centre, the Casa del Brodo is almost a monument. Historic authentic restaurant of the Palermo gastronomic tradition. Simple traditional dishes cooked like your grandmother did last century. Normal restaurant prices and not super "fake Gourmet" restaurants to fleece tourists.

Recommended to everyone! Historic but not touristy place, quality and professionalism make the difference since a simple dinner with friends has transformed into a fun and intimate moment of tasting and rediscovering ancient Sicilian recipes. We had a great time and we did the "slipper"!

It's been a long time since I've been back to this restaurant and, like 5 years ago, I confirm my super positive experience!
Historic place that deserves praise both for the quality of the ingredients and for the impeccable creation of the typical dishes of our tradition.
Staff attentive to customer needs, who take care to satisfy the requests of diners, welcoming location.
We started our dinner by tasting the really tender and tasty boiled meat, then each of us chose a dish, I wanted the pancake without pasta and I was satisfied and to finish we shared an 800g cut of meat and a pork shank with potatoes with saffron!
I think one of the most satisfying dinners of recent times!
Highly recommended, as always in my heart!

Excellent and welcoming restaurant in the historic center of Palermo.
Intimate dinner with friends that exceeded all expectations thanks to the staff who were always attentive and present with discretion and panache; we chose a tasting of their flagships: broth and tortellini, sliced rare, pork shank with saffron potatoes (divine), Cacio all'argentiera, macco di fave. All accompanied with an excellent Sicilian red wine and a nice Marsala at the end. Unlike all the other nearby places, which are purely touristy and all the same, here you can eat truly excellent home-made cuisine with high quality ingredients. They fear no rivals! We will return for sure!

La misura la da il fatto che mi sono piaciute tanto le panelle, che è un piatto che difficilmente mangio. Queste panelle sono perfette. Ottime le crocchè e squisito la sfincione. Ravioli deliziosi, come il maiale del resto. La cassata al forno davvero buona. Spero di tornare presto con mio marito per fargli assaggiare queste squisitezze.

Il nostro soggiorno era di tre giorni ma il problema di dove andare a cene non lo abbiamo avuto. La scelta della prima volta è stata fatta leggendo le recensioni degli altri, la seconda perché ci è garbato proprio. Anche se mangiare tortellini in brodo a Palermo ci pareva strano, noi lo consigliamo così come anche i bucatini con le sarde, e buon appetito!
