Bar Platamonte In Catania

A bar in the center of Catania with a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The staff was super friendly and service was quick. You can sit inside or outside. More than fair prices. If you're looking for a quick break with a beer in hand without having to sell a kidney in the city center, this bar is for you.

Great coffee and Italian pastries. This café is frequented mainly by locals. Highly recommended, away from the crowded streets of Catania and not far from the cathedral.

The question is, why only five??? The best bar in Catania. Great espresso at a regular price and phenomenal canollo. Simply perfect!!! Service from two friendly guys is a definite plus. I'll always come back here, and if I ever lived here, I'd be a regular customer.

We are happy that the brioche we had and the other biscuit (I don't know the name) has the real cream of pistachio. Friendly and attentive staff.
