Agriturismo a Piozzano a due passi da Piacenza. Location molto bella e strutturata dalla quale è possibile avere una vista mozzafiato sulla pianura padana. Abbiamo pranzato sotto un altissimo porticato in una giornata calda ma ventilata. Non abbiamo “patito” il caldo che c’era in pianura. Mi sono accordato con Stefano, il proprietario, un paio di settimane prima, per un menu con antipasto ricco (salumi, giardiniera, polpettine con salsa di carote, senape e miele), bis di primi (caramelle alla ricotta ed erbette, gnocchi di pangrattato con fagioli e speck), dessert e caffè, acqua e vino: è stato tutto perfetto. Per cucinare in questo modo ci vuole ottima materia prima, conoscenza dei singoli ingredienti e degli accostamenti, intelligenza ed empatia. Il vino, un gutturnio, è stato superlativo. Stefano è molto attento e discreto nello stesso momento … una sensibilità unica. Ci tornerò sicuramente perché è un posto dove si sta e si mangia benissimo. Grazie Stefano e Martina!!!

One cannot help but compliment this beautiful structure which maintains the characteristics of the former farmhouse intact. Everything is well thought out from both a functional and aesthetic point of view. The apartments are large, the beds comfortable (but this is subjective), the kitchen well-equipped. The manager is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is simple but with quality products. The only flaw is the weak WiFi, at least in the apartment where I was. I watched the national team match in streaming (yes, because there is no TV) and despite the repeater in the apartment, the connection is often interrupted.

Farmhouse in Piozzano a stone's throw from Piacenza. Very beautiful and structured location from which it is possible to have a breathtaking view of the Po Valley. We had lunch under a very high portico on a hot but windy day. We didn't "suffer" the heat that was on the plains. I agreed with Stefano, the owner, a couple of weeks before, for a menu with a rich starter (cold cuts, giardiniera, meatballs with carrot, mustard and honey sauce), encore first courses (ricotta and herb sweets, breadcrumb gnocchi with beans and speck), dessert and coffee, water and wine: everything was perfect. To cook in this way you need excellent raw materials, knowledge of the individual ingredients and combinations, intelligence and empathy. The wine, a gutturnio, was superb. Stefano is very attentive and discreet at the same time... a unique sensitivity. I will definitely go back because it's a place where you stay and eat very well. Thanks Stefano and Martina!!!

We were welcomed with kindness and professionalism by the owner, who served us a delicious lunch prepared by his wife in a fabulous location in the Piacenza area. Highly recommended.

Just over an hour's drive from Milan on the Piacenza hills. Lovely place and great food. Weekend with friends. Advised!
