22/10/2023: Read positive reviews of this wonderful wine bar nestled off the beaten path of tourist traffic. Very friendly manager who helped us and just loved spending a late afternoon at this great spot. From all appearances it seemed a place for locals and just good vibes.

05/04/2024: The service is terrible. First, we were waiting for 20 minutes to get the menu, and after that for 30 minutes we were waiting for the waiter to come to us and order the food. But after all this wasted time, I lost my patience and we went to another restaurant.

Sono stato con amici che venivano dal Trentino e sono rimasti stupiti della selezione di Gianfranco che ha creato per noi degli splendidi taglieri pieni di prodotti ricercati e gustosi. A presto

01/04/2024: We returned this evening after spending Easter in this hotel. Very nice place surrounded by greenery with two swimming pools (one very beautiful, in a garden full of daisies with various benches and chairs to sit and relax). It is possible to get to San Gimignano on foot with a walk through the greenery that starts right there near the hotel. Rich breakfast with fresh cold cuts and quality desserts. Excellent and plentiful Easter lunch, very kind waiters like all the staff, I want to say! Nice room with a nice terrace overlooking the garden. I would definitely stay here again to take advantage of the two beautiful swimming pools. The environment is very relaxing and we had a really good time, congratulations to everyone!

11/02/2024: The structure is welcoming, well organized and easily accessible by car. The village of San Gimignano is just a few minutes away either by car or on foot. The rooms are spacious, clean and refined in every detail. Abundant and international breakfast, satisfied the tastes of each of us. The staff were friendly, helpful, polite and, above all, always smiling. The shuttle service to San Gimignano is excellent. An experience we will repeat.

27/05/2024: Con Cuibus mi è stato consigliato da una persona di San Gimignano, ma non mi aspettavo davvero che fosse un ristorante così completo. - Il posto, delizioso: essenziale ma curato, abbiamo cenato nel giardino interno. - Servizio: eccellente, sempre curato ed attento, dal servizio in sala alla presentazione dei piatti. Lorenzo, consigliere esperto e attento (io non avevo ordinato un antipasto/primo e per non farmi stare senza piatto mentre gli altri cenavano, mi ha "sorpreso" con un fiore di zucca fritto con ricotta ed alici; ho apprezzato moltissimo! Cibo: davvero ottimo, dalla proposta, alla materia prima fino alle cotture perfette. La cucina è del Luogo ma lascia stupiti per l'eleganza. Per provare più piatti, abbiamo spaziato dal Mezzuovo, alla terrina di lingua, agli gnudi con querciola e tartufo, pappardella ripiena di ragù di cinghiale, tagliolini con aringa, coscia di agnello marinata al latte, e per finire, lode al tiramisù che è davvero "fatto bene" come dice il menu! Buona cantina dei vini. Bravi, come lo curate e come coccolate il cliente. Lo consiglio davvero, vale il viaggio!

13/05/2024: restaurant où les plats sont bons mais plutôt Castro ( pas fait pour les gros mangeurs ) les plats sont de qualités mais l’atmosphère un peu coincée à mon goût. Très belle carte de vin mais un peu cher . Personnel un peu froid mais professionnel

04/04/2024: Definitely overpriced; just for tourists like us. But very tasty, friendly and authentic. It's a shame that the prices are relatively high (at least if you're eating out as a family); otherwise we would eat here again.

03/05/2024: My husband and I visited for the second time this evening. Even better, more interesting, and creative than last year. Each of our menu selections was superb. Each dish was reminiscent of traditional Tuscan offerings, but innovative without being weird. Gorgeous space. The wait snd kitchen staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to chat with. Excellent wines. This amazing restaurant deserves a Michelin star!

22/03/2024: We stayed in an agriturismo in the neighbourhood already some time ago, but I still remember the food I ate here. Definitly the best restaurant we tried in this area.

01/04/2024: We went here for lunch with our two little boys on Easter Monday. The food was tasty, not exceptional, but delicious. Portions a little small and a little more expensive than in direct comparison with restaurants in the immediate area. But the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was simply fantastically Tuscan! It was raining during our visit, but we enjoyed the view of the beautiful courtyard from inside. We would come again.

15/05/2024: This restaurant was recommended to us ( my wife and I) by our hotel, for dinner. Overall i would say this restaurant seems to be pitching itself to mainly western, perhaps affluent, tourists wishing to dine in a lovely location and are happy to accept average food and service. I look forward to finding us a better balanced dining experience tomorrow.

12/05/2024: We were ignored and looked down upon by at least three waiters as we were looking to be offered a table outside and be seated. I kindly asked 2 of the waiters and patiently waited. After 8-10 minutes, we just left. Seems they don‘t need the money - they have enough customers. Karma will eventually get you. 😉
