28/05/2024: Excellent experience in a truly fantastic restaurant, typical and perfectly located. We were recommended perfectly and we ate really, really well!!! Excellent care of the dishes, of the service and above all for celiac disease no problem!!!

23/05/2024: Came during my honeymoon with my wife. It was definitely a romantic setting. They sat us even though I did not make a reservation. This was the best Bisteca Fiorentina I had in Italy, better than the much more touristy restaurants we tried in Florence!! Our waiter was also amazing, friendly, communicated well, brought out the steak to show me before it was cooked to give me an idea of how big it was, which was hilarious! We also had the chef's special pasta which also very delicious!

09/06/2024: We had the best time. We stayed in a brand new room. The location is great, the wine needs to get an award and the stuff is really friendly! But watch my pictures/videos for more impressions. A very nice experience 🍷🫶🏼

05/04/2024: A cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine. There was absolutely nothing to complain about in our menu, a dream in truffles. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and accommodating. An absolute must if you are in the area. We'll definitely be back!

01/06/2024: This was a wonderful place to dine. The service was top notch throughout the entire experience. The food was absolutely stellar and every single dish was 10/10. I highly recommend stopping by here. The outdoor space is beautiful for a warm day, we sat on the patio for lunch. Everyone was super nice and very attentive.

12/05/2024: A wonderful culinary experience in this gem of a restaurant, with a spectacular view amid the rolling Chianti hills. We were made very welcome by the excellent staff, who were very knowledgable and super friendly. The menu was perfect, full of mouth-watering authentic traditional dishes using local, seasonal produce. For our main meals we had the succulent Peposo del Papavero and the delicious Quaglia al tegame con il suo ripieno, accompanied, of course, by a wonderful bottle of Chianti Classico. Everything was excellent value, particularly given the extremely high quality of the food. We will definitely return soon to this very special restaurant!

04/06/2024: Experience to be redone. I don't know if we will have the opportunity to return to those areas, but if we did it would certainly be a fixed stop. The owners are exceptional, nice and friendly. The food is fabulous and the value for money is excellent. Highly recommended

02/06/2024: We chose this restaurant at random. The food wasn't bad. The place is anonymous and absolutely uncharacteristic for the area in which it is located. The staff, I would say terrible, without any empathy with the customer, at times even rude. Furthermore, the quality/price ratio is absolutely out of place. I reply to your comment: I think he's mistaking me for someone else since I never asked for discounts... I simply witnessed rude behavior directed at the table next to me, which from the reviews also seems quite common…

20/03/2024: Beautiful and well organized winery to visit in classic Chianti, more precisely in Gaiole, the vineyards are perfectly kept and very beautiful to visit. The tasting is well guided and there is also the possibility of eating at the tavern which offers excellent cuisine.

18/09/2023: We had a fabulous dinner, this is a MUST DO, if you are in the region. We were served multiple courses before a show stopping Tuscan slow roasted beef with a Tuscan version of ratatouille! My favourite was the quasi panzanella and the percorino puffs…amazing. All fotos follow the menu.

30/08/2023: My husband and I just stayed for five nights and words cannot express what a wonderful experience we had. Simone and Alessio were the best and most welcoming hosts we have ever had. We will definitely be back.

05/06/2024: A lovely family-run place with nice staff, good atmosphere and great food. (We only tried the local tomato soup, but that was DELICIOUS!) You can find the family history and how the place grew as part of the menu - it's a nice touch.

29/10/2023: This has to be our favorite restaurant in Tuscany! We had dinner here twice while staying at Castella di Spaltenna in Gaiole ( a 1 0 minute drive away). Beautiful ambience, top-notch service, and wonderful food and wine. I have Celiac and they exceeded my expectations with delicious bread and gluten free pasta dishes. Truly an exceptional restaurant and our best dining experience!

21/10/2023: Abbiamo alloggiato alla Rocca di Castagnoli in occasione de L’Eroica ed abbiamo approfittato del ristorante, posto all’interno dello splendido complesso medievale. Pietanze superbe, complimenti alla Chef ed a tutto lo staff.

08/12/2023: A thousand years of hospitality. They don't improvise here! The places are magical and the zero-mile food preserves unique flavors and intensities.

21/10/2023: Today's experience of 6 people with a very rainy day so we arrive half an hour late, they tell us that we can do the tour anyway and make us wait twenty minutes (so far so good). However, given the starting time, the tour lasts less than 15 minutes, including a summary tasting without too much explanation of two wines with poorly filled glasses (together we didn't even get to a normal glass). Despite the purchase of two bottles, including a magnum, and my obvious disappointment, they still made us all pay the full price of the tasting. They don't even know what hospitality is even though it is their motto.

07/11/2023: We visited this beautiful castle at the beginning of August. The location is wonderful, in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The staff is very kind and caring and Angelo is truly an angel. We hope to return next year!
