06/05/2024: Montecarlo is a small Tuscan jewel in a hilly position where you can enjoy a beautiful view and exemplary ventilation ... We were invited to eat at the Forassiepi restaurant.
Recommended seafood tasting menu... Even if the sea is not a stone's throw away, the kitchen knows how to work it to perfection.
I only put the photo of the prawns, for me it was one of the best dishes of the dinner but the best of the best... a succession of different flavors but in tune together.
Between a sip of wine and a chat, we arrived at the pre-sweet and dessert...
The biggest thank you goes to Sergio who invited us, the other big thank you goes to all the restaurant staff.... Punctual but never nagging...
I would like to return in the middle of summer and be able to dine in the garden, enjoy the palate and the view as well.

01/05/2024: Eccellente sia l ambiente che il cibo; un ristorante chic con il personale che ti mette subito a proprio agio, piatti ricercati e più particolari del classico con quantità giuste e non ridicole come altri ristoranti stellati. Si viene accolti con un aperitivo di benvenuto a base di bollicine e stuzzichini. Aspettando la prima portata ci viene servita una pappa al pomodoro croccante molto particolare, poi in tre abbiamo ordinato due portate a testa; infine due dolci (hanno portato a tutti un assaggio di una panna cotta). Al caffè viene portato un assaggio di pasticceria secca. In tre + una bambina (ha preso solo una pasta in bianco) abbiamo speso € 195 senza vino.
Lo chef passa più volte ad assicurarsi che va tutto bene.
Siamo stati divinamente, consigliato!

23/05/2024: We went to dinner and for a wine tasting for one of our tour groups group dinners, and I have to say my husband and I LOVED it! The homemade pasta and sauce was delicious. The wine was also so good and our group had such a wonderful time! We ordered some wine to bring home back to the states, I will absolutely recommend this place to family and friends on their trips to Italy!

16/05/2024: Deserves to be discovered, €4 for an aperol spritz, €10 for an excellent wine, the tagliata is to die for, the chicken dish too, super friendly waitress and waiters, you really have to go!
13/05/2024: I didn't stop here because I was there outside of opening hours. But the view is still worth a visit at any time.

21/05/2024: Su indicazione dei proprietari dell'agriturismo dove alloggiavamo ci siamo recati in questa location, siamo rimasti talmente soddisfatti che anche la sera seguente siamo tornati per cena.
Il locale è accogliente ed il personale ben preparato e gentile, servizio rapido.
Abbiamo mangiato sia il primo che il secondo, un'ottima tagliata per 2 persone e la sera seguente abbiamo provato anche la pizza.

19/05/2024: Ottima ristorante sulle pendici di una collina coltivata a uliveto.Il menù è vario e tipicamente toscano i piatti sono ben cucinati e ben presentati. Staff estremamente gentile ed efficiente. Location bucolica. Prezzi contenuti. Consigliato.

18/03/2024: I participated with friends in a tasting of craft beer produced by a local brewery and it was a truly interesting and impeccably organized experience. Impeccable location, very pretty and friendly and welcoming service. Quality food and excellent beer. Great idea, well done. I will definitely come back.

04/01/2024: We were there for New Year's Eve with the family together with some of our friends and their children. The place is beautiful, in the middle of nature, it's just a shame about the bad weather which didn't give us the opportunity to better explore the whole environment. All in all nice and clean mini apartments.

04/04/2024: Bar with adjoining pizzeria, near Montecarlo (LU), spartan environment, friendly staff, very good pizzas and focaccia, good appetizer, good desserts and fruit salad, more than interesting prices, I just want to tell you one thing, you only eat with your hands, no cutlery, a paper tray for plates, for those who aren't looking for a place setting, tablecloths etc.etc. and highly recommended.

21/01/2024: I'm sorry to say it but I was really disappointed with this pizzeria. It was once very famous in the area perhaps, but now in my opinion not really... we were a group of friends (8) we tried not to order so many different pizzas and in any case they came out out two three at a time..and then the small pizzas, not even at the edge of the plate as you can see from the photo..it had to be a 4 cheese pizza but without tomato, it's always the same one I get..but it was not only small but dry and of the 4 cheeses there was nothing, it was nothing..(9.50 euros, a steal..)Then I also got the ice cream which was artisanal but for 5.5 euros at least at the level of the rim of the cup..(another theft ) In short, I gave two stars, one for the service which was kind and one because I ate it and didn't send it back. I don't think I'll go back again.
18/01/2024: Dinner for 4 on a Thursday evening, first time. What can I say: a well-kept place and a comfortable environment, very quiet and pleasant; impeccable, kind, friendly service; very good pizza, thin although not too thin, but in which we perceived the excellent quality of the ingredients. Last, but not least, the desserts are homemade: we took 4 different desserts and they were all good and fresh. We will definitely be back!

Piatti originali con prodotti di prima qualità ben preparati e serviti.
Si sentono i sapori del territorio e la bontà..
Abbiamo molto apprezzato la carne presenta in modo eccellente e squisiti funghi fritti.
Complimenti allo chef ed a tutto lo staff x l'atmosfera e la simpatia..

22/05/2024: Arrivati in piazza a montecarlo non abbiamo trovato il locale dove era ubicato inizialmente. Ci siamo quindi addentrati nell' osteria la buca del norcino. Accolti nell' immediato dal titolare ci siamo trovati in un locale grande con vista che nel complesso non era male. Accoglienza e servizio "invadente" sia da parte del proprietario sia dal cameriere che ci serviva. Prezzi totalmente diversi rispetto a quelli segnalati su "the fork" per cui tutto ha dato la sembianza di una truffa. Un consiglio se si cambia tipologia di locale si aggiorna anche il mezzo con cui ci si mostra su internet. La qualità del cibo non è all' altezza né della presentazione del piatto né della qualità. Esperienza da non ripetere. Può essere solo un locale per turisti.
