07/10/2023: We were on a day trip to San Maddalena and came across this restaurant by chance. We were personally greeted by the boss, who took care of both the kitchen and the service, which was no problem in the low season. The food was really good and there was an idea behind every dish. For us, the semifreddo was a little highlight, especially at the end; it really tasted very good. But the fish starter and the fried calamari were also very good. We felt really comfortable and in terms of hospitality, it was the best restaurant we have experienced. We would definitely come again.

17/09/2023: In the context of a daily motorcycle tour on the splendid island of La Maddalena, we were intrigued by this restaurant outside the tourist context. We meet the owner, Giuseppe, a passionate chef who tells us about his life and long-term experiences in the restaurant sector. A particular empathy is immediately born, also due to his extremely kind and humble manner. A rarity. Food and dishes? From a starred restaurant, a refinement in the search for flavors and in the combination of truly excellent foods. Here you don't eat the banal, but you savor local foods prepared with great passion such as sautéed mussels with myrtle or gnocchi with scorpion fish and almond flour. What can I say, we will definitely return to say hello to Giuseppe and enjoy his dishes again, but we will stay more than one day. Thanks Giuseppe, see you next June. Stefano and Rosanna

09/05/2024: Place with many tables available to savor the grilled meat, first courses and pizzas which are the top, if the customer prefers he can eat outdoors under the gazebo the owners are kind and helpful highly recommended

07/05/2024: Ate two times in two days. Lovely pasta, wonderful pizza. They offer traditional dishes and also some that you will not find anywhere else. Great vegetarian options. You can feel that they really try to make you feel comfortable!

25/01/2024: Very welcoming place, it's a perfect place if you want to study and eat at the same time!!! For those who want some advice I would recommend bubble tea+bubble waffle (even the normal waffle is fine)

21/05/2024: Insider tip for Sardinian cuisine and an absolute hit. Great, cozy place with a very friendly team. The marinated sardines are buttery and not fishy or sour. Sardinian sausage and cheese platter with honey. The smoked Sardinian ricotta, a very mild cheese, was an absolute treat combined with the sausage and honey. Never eaten typical Sardinian Zuppa Cuata before. Simple and super tasty. Sardinian fregola with seafood is a dream. Sardinian white flan with caramelized fruits. Bravo. We were absolutely thrilled. We would be happy to come back and recommend Osteria Chèz Cocò.

27/05/2024: It should be noted that I don't like leaving this type of review. I celebrated a communion. A terrible experience. Dirty tablecloths. Poor welcome appetizer. Poor bathrooms. Non-existent piano bar. Not to mention the entertainment I've never seen. Worst entertainment. Honestly, for the amount spent it wasn't even worth half. I paid. a lunch of 110 per person and honestly it was worth half I didn't make a fuss because honestly it's not in my nature I paid and left but honestly I had taken care of everything down to the smallest detail and I was very disappointed with what was proposed to me that day which it didn't correspond to the package offered to me when I booked.... well, experience teaches us
