29/01/2024: Screwed up the order, brought out pizzas with toppings that weren't ordered, overcharged as a result. They can't speak English properly, so there was no point in arguing as they wouldn't understand the problem. Also, worst pizza ever. Avoid!

21/05/2024: Dropped in after a couple of drinks Guys serving were good fun food was unreal best meal so far in Naples Coerced into trying the carbonara fried ball, after getting called easy tourists for wanting bruschetta. out of this world best decision made yet “Cheap” isn’t the word as the food quality is top notch but the prices are more than reasonable Will be back before we go home Also brought over a little handle for the Mrs bag good people

20/05/2024: An absolute 5-star experience at San Gennaro. We got a Pizza Diavola and some Crochets for takeaway. The service was really friendly, and we waited for our pizza in the bar on the opposite side of the street. Once our order was done, we received an amazingly tasting neapolitan pizza. The spicy sausage tasted great, and the "bottom" of the pizza was perfect! Also the fried items tasted really good, and were the perfect starter. All that for an amazing price! Absolute recommendation in Napoli!

14/05/2024: A very good restaurant. The place is beautifully decorated and very impressive. Despite the upscale style of the restaurant, the prices are absolutely ok. With 2 people we didn't pay more than 50 euros for starter and main course. There is a wide selection of pizza, pasta and seafood. Café and desserts are also available, but not on the menu. If you are interested, just speak to the waiter. A very great experience.

06/04/2024: We had a very bad experience in this place, the pizza was soggy and without taste, they charged us the "cuperto" without bring us anything extra. Despite the good reviews we definitely do not recommend this place for any tourist.

06/04/2024: Frustrating. I read the reviews and it seemed like an excellent option. However, the dough was raw and the filling tasteless. One of the mpozzas we ordered was 4 cheeses and I liked cornstarch. I never imagined that a pizza in the city of Naples could be so bad. Garcom was rushing us to choose quickly. I didn't even have time to read all the options. I don't recommend it under any circumstances.

04/05/2024: I asked for a vegan pizza and waiter accomodate my requirement in an instant. Delicious vegetable pizza, senza formaggio. Also, Vegan spaghetti al pomodoro, Gracias!

26/04/2024: Small but welcoming restaurant-pizzeria, equipped with both an external and an internal room. Excellent service. The gentleman who served us was kind and thoughtful, always attentive to our needs and ready to advise us. We started the meal with a really good Italian-style mixed fry. The frying was light and not at all greasy. The bread served was fresh and fragrant. For the main course, we opted for a pizza. Alongside the classic pizzas, La Locanda del Grifo also offers very particular combinations of ingredients, which intrigued us and did not disappoint. In particular, I recommend the focaccia pizza with raw ham, honey, ricotta, walnuts and cherry tomatoes: a truly exceptional combination of flavours. The prices are absolutely consistent with the quality of the food and service. Nice find, recommended!

01/04/2024: Very bad experience I had here, cannot recommend it to anyone Several flaws on both service and food: - Food: We ordered four pizza flavours and all of them were rather bland. Dough was missing the very distinct Neapolitan chewiness, and one of the pizzas had tears leading the dough being undercooked - Service: Server was high, forgot to order one of the pizzas. Full bingo

28/03/2024: In a touristy town, no one in this shop really speaks English and can't really take an order. Then something gets forgotten and everything takes forever. The food (pizza) is good but nothing special.

01/04/2024: I ordered the spaghetti with seafood (frutti di mare) dish. It had a really delicate sauce that didn’t overpower the seafood. A generous amount of mussels and clams that was perfectly cooked. So delicious! The bread on the side was also light and there was a generous portion. The Margherita pizza at the next table also looked delicious but it would have been impolite to ask for a slice. Try this place if are you in the Lungomare area! Nice outdoor seating area.

02/04/2024: Very nice place with great food! We ordered the omelettes, croquettes and courgette flowers as an appetizer and to follow the pizza, we give everything a 10 out of 10! The waiter who served us was very kind and very nice!
