14/05/2024: Pino's star passes through Zocca and tries the Cinon tavern. In the town of Vasco a restaurant that deserves to be tried. I didn't give 5 stars because we only had the first courses and a peperonata. The Tortellini from the photo are very small and never seen like this with a mortadella filling and topped with parmesan fondue. And the smaller thin tagliatelle typical of the tavern with a delicate black truffle with a non-invasive bite. Peperonata like grandma's. In short, Cinon is worth trying, the display of wines is also excellent.

28/05/2024: What to say?? All excellent and plentiful with minimum expense for quality and quantity. Convenient parking, good welcome. The verbal menu recommended very well. Appetizer offered. Then a trio of super and excellent first courses, grilled and sliced. Plus a fried dish with potatoes and cream. The precise service is fast.. Do you think I ate really well now the bill is ok?? And instead you're super happy with that too.... Really well done to return safely.
19/05/2024: I was there in December 2023, had a good meal and appreciated the value for money. Today I call to book and I hear the rude reply "you have to leave me free inside or outside". I understand that everything is full on Sunday and I'm pleased but courtesy and politeness are evidently not for everyone, even more so if a customer perhaps has an elderly or disabled person with them, could they be able to choose whether to table outside or inside?

04/05/2024: Excellent tasty meat main courses and generous portions, competitive price. Business menu available, Podetto is among the few restaurants in the area open on Thursdays in the low season.
We arrived a little early and, in addition to not understanding where the entrance was (from the outside the restaurant looked closed) we took the managers a little by surprise. Although there was a beautiful and bright room at the entrance, near the cash register, they made us sit in a second room, large but colder. Upon leaving I understood that they had chosen to seat the workers in the first, informal room, and the other customers in the second. At the next opportunity I will insist on being able to sit with the workers.

13/05/2024: Before Zocca coming from Castel D'Aiano on the road, trattoria restaurant with parking, excellent menu (fried porcini mushrooms), not in season but really good, good cellar, efficient staff attentive to customer needs.

18/05/2024: One certainty, I'll be back whenever I can... especially on Fridays!!! The restaurant offers home cooking with first choice products based on the season... something not to be underestimated in my opinion... Menu not too long but of impeccable quality!! (With truly honest prices for the quality) Often the chef also offers new dishes, on Fridays sometimes fish!!!! Rustic environment but not too much, you can breathe a warm and enveloping atmosphere, not to mention the wonderful panorama both in winter and summer!!!! Thank you very much and I hope to return soon!! Last night's dishes were galactic!! I didn't have time to photograph the dessert😆. Thanks again to the 🧑🍳 Cook!!

10/03/2024: I have been for lunch several times with my family. Let me start by saying that I am quite fussy when it comes to food. The more I go there, the more I am convinced that it is one of the best places I have eaten in my life. 5 or 6 first courses, 5 or 6 second courses, various side dishes and desserts. The food is all genuine and the quality of the dishes is really high. When you sit down to eat in this inn you have to forget about the rush, enjoy the company, the tranquility of the place, the good food perhaps accompanied by a glass of wine.

29/04/2024: I must say, reluctantly, the sore points (hoping they were just an exception of the day) about the food
And I expect them to be taken into consideration for improvement
I added a photo which, to put it this way, looks like excellent dishes but... in the opinion of several people (we were a large table) EVERYTHING was VERY SALTY (please inform the chef 😬🙏)
The only good thing was the bruschetta
The tagliatelle were all stuck together, the cut was very good except that the mushroom sauce was SALTY.
The baked potatoes were inedible, soft inside and with an external aftertaste of... 🤷♀️ unfortunately I couldn't describe it.
In the photo there are no passatelli (which I don't like in general) but the 4 people who took them commented negatively.
It wasn't clear how the grilled vegetables were seasoned ( 🙄 )
A POSITIVE note, but I'll leave it.
The place is very nice and clean and
a round of applause to the girl who served us, polite, pretty, kind.

15/02/2024: We wanted borlenghi so I contacted La Nuova Odissea directly. I had the pleasure of speaking to the owner, Mr. Paolo, who very kindly offered to let us taste their borlenghi (really excellent!) even though it was Thursday and they only made them during the weekend. Retro place where it is always pleasant to eat in company and have a chat with those who work there. We will definitely be back!

26/11/2023: Si mangia bene, molto abbondante, ma paste non tutte fatte in casa, gnocco fritto molto spesso. Abbiamo mangiato due primi e gnocco e tigelle con cacciatora di pollo per uno, bottiglia di pignoleria Righi, due dolci e due caffè per € 60. Conto un pò alto per quello che abbiamo preso. Negativo che non ci sia un menù coi prezzi e che i tavoli siano molto fitti, con relativo rumore. Servizio molto veloce e cortese. Gradita l'entrè offerta in attesa che arrivi l'ordine.
02/11/2023: Autentica Trattoria romagnola nascosta tra i castagni appenninici ai piedi di Zocca.
Ambiente e cucina tipici. Inizio con polenta fritta croccante da Dio! Tortellini in brodo “di giuggiole”. Gnocchi (olio fritto cercasi… nessuna traccia!) con affettati e tigelle con lardo aromatizzato che ha mangiato anche mia moglie che normalmente lo scarta scarta da prosciutto. Tagliatelle di ottima fattura con un sugo di funghi misti accettabile. Tutto buono: solo il pollo fritto lasciava un po’ a desiderare (forse anche a causa della sazietà).
Siamo andati di sabato (per fortuna avevamo prenotato) ed era pieno come un uovo: cacciatori, ciclisti, escursionisti e famigliole trigenerazionali. Una confusione del diavolo ma fa parte dell’ambiente!
Una full immersion di tradizione romagnola, Compreso l’oste e le brave cameriere.
Dimenticavo: lambrusco spillato… occhio alla patente!
Prezzo: decisamente accattivante.

03/05/2024: A fantastic birthday gift. I thought it was closed but instead, seeing a review on the internet, we found this special place on the day dedicated to the Gran Fritto misto which, accompanied by a fantastic Sauvignon by Elena Walch, made our evening special!
