14/05/2024: 2022- It’s about 15mins walk from old town central and the weather was cool that evening, so the walk was quite pleasant. We had the wild boar rigatoni pasta, chicken liver with toasted bread, Florentine steak, Iberian pork, Cacio and Pepe pasta. All were good, especially the wild boar pasta, which was really flavourful. Porcini mushroom was in season and we had it on the side, which is smooth and creamy in taste. Desserts were very good too…the milefoglie and chocolate tart (which is more of a chocolate cake) were nice with light chantily cream. Wine selection is good too, though slightly higher in price. Service was alright, but the team doesn’t really speak English much and the menus were not fully translated, so we had to Google some of the dishes ourselves. Highly recommend the wild boar rigatoni. Went a second time in 2024 and really like the Al Ragu tagliatelle…my absolute favorite so far! Love the paintings with dogs too!

02/06/2024: TRUE Trattoria, reflects the true definition of a trattoria. Local dishes from the area, fresh pasta (delicious tortellini) with fair prices. Highly recommended

25/05/2024: We found this restaurant by chance and it was a great discovery. We ate a good starter and two excellent fresh pasta first courses. The dessert is good. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

03/06/2024: Delicious authentic Italian food (the pasta and Tiramisu were particularly good). Lovely warm welcome and great service. The staff were really nice to 3 young kids. We will visit again before we leave!

26/05/2024: Spectacular! A single word to describe the quality of the ingredients, the service and the execution of the various dishes ordered, including a bone-in Florentine steak, almost impossible to find anywhere in the Ferrara area. Really pleasant people and a particular location (we are along the Po di Volano river) with its characteristic docks, super enjoyable in spring! PS: The desserts are also delicious. Very kind staff. Prices are certainly not cheap, but you pay for the quality....and I don't know if you'll be disappointed!
