10/12/2023: Everything really excellent! I would like to give you just one piece of advice for the paccheri stuffed with broccoli and sausage, as I found them a little too dry when cooked in the oven... perhaps a base of béchamel underneath would make everything softer and creamier!!

19/05/2024: Refined and elegant place, full of history. The food is excellent, good value for money (considering Capri prices!). The staff is very kind. A small welcome entrée with freshly cut vegetables and olives was much appreciated The bread is also great! I only took a fish dish (little film now with potatoes etc) and it was enough for me. With glasses of wine price 46 euros.

19/05/2024: Ottima cucina. Molto gradite le sorprese di antipasto e fine pasto. I pani e grissini fatti da loro, eccellenti. Tra i piatti buonissimi il risotto, il tortino di alici con gelato di peperoni arrostiti, il carciofo al caffè e lo spaghetto con le erbe amare. Buono il menù vegetariano. Interessante la ricerca di ingredienti locali originali della tradizione, spesso raccontati con passione dal maitre. Servizio attento e professionale. Prezzo non basso, ma rispondente alla location e alla qualità.

18/05/2024: Da Tonino in Capri is a gem! The service is top-notch, and the food is absolutely delicious. Mauricio deserves a special shoutout for making my kid's day with his extra care and attention. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant just adds to the whole experience. If you're in Capri, this place is a must-visit! Big thanks to Mauricio and the whole team for making our meal so memorable. A truly fantastic dining experience at Da Tonino!

26/02/2024: I have been coming from love for exactly 15 years. Walking area and may give the idea of ​​being touristy due to the area in which it is located, but it is not at all!! Over many years, I have been able to witness the evolution and growth of this magical place. Furthermore, this year I enjoyed the magnificent dishes of chef Pasquale Rinaldo. Welcome entrée with attention to detail (that butter with anchovy?! And what are we talking about?!). Space smoked tartare!!! And then the first one that I preferred was the carbonara with scampi. A true ENJOYMENT, not only for the palate, but also for the nose! You can't tell, you have to try. So if you are in Capri you can't miss stopping by d'amore.

25/10/2023: In my opinion, there is no finer restaurant in Capri. I have gone here every year I have come and D'Amore always pleases. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. The staff, are the greatest. You get much more than you ask for here and everything is exquisite. Thank you Marco Pasquale, Tonino, Antonella, Ernesto and all of your waiters for making me feel appreciated. See you next year! And, don't remember la musica!

19/01/2024: Thank you for being a highlight to our Honeymoon. Special thanks to, Mohammed, Franco and María (Fish surgeon!!!). Chef Niello was amazing and sent us tastings, and was nice enough to come greet us. Vincenzo at the Jacky bar downstairs is a true alchemist and loves what he does. Phenomenal experience all around.

21/10/2023: 6 stars if I could. I did the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Food was delicious. It felt authentic especially with the starters, while also interesting and inventive. The service was also wonderful. The recommendations of the waiter were perfect and the wine was excellent. This meal would be $400/person in nyc and still worth it. I’m surprised it doesn’t have a Michelin star already. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special meal

21/10/2023: One of the best meals I had in Capri. The entire meal was delicious, but the Cacio e Pepe in particular was amazing. I got it at the suggestion of the waiter despite being wary (I’ve had a lot of cacio e Pepe and I felt like I knew what to expect), but it was the best cacio e Pepe I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was lovely, service was great, food, wine, dessert were all fantastic

11/10/2023: Wat een spannende plek. Even zoeken in een smalle steeg en dan wow wat een uitzicht. Heerlijke Italiaanse gerechten. Alles puur. Ruime tafels. Warm welkom en houden rekening met dieet wensen. Glue free. Dairy free. Zeldzaam in Italië.

23/05/2024: We stopped here for lunch with a larger tour group. Very tasty pizza, friendly and very fast service. As a tourist in such a place, I wasn't used to this - so I highly recommend it.

06/04/2024: We had our best lunch in Capri at Il Gabbiano. The waiter recommended a delicious local pasta dish. We also had a lemon cello spritz to start and a beautiful glass of house wine. It is definitely our best meal in Capri and we will be back

18/10/2023: Unfortunately we had a heavier meal earlier, so we ordered a lighter dinner here. This restaurant sits up on the side of the hill almost like a treehouse, in a very serene setting. There are outdoor covered seating areas that look very elegant but also casual in the nighttime. Our food was excellent and the service was top notch. I look forward to coming back here someday.
