Ristorante al Grottino In Capri

Food was amazing. Owner was nice. Great ma and pa style restaurant with personalized attention and service. We randomly found this place while walking around Capri. Even though the place was packed, the owner made a table for us and took amazing care of us. What great authentic atmosphere and the best tasting Italian food I've ever had.

Warm welcome by the owner, who makes the effort to communicate in the language of the tourists who enter. Don't come if you are looking to eat in a modern and spacious place, but if you are looking for something typical and charming with its "old-fashioned" side, you are in the right place. Our favourite traditional Italian restaurant to date. We were in Capri for roughly a week and did 4 meals here and tried different dishes (whilst wishing we had had time for more!). This was by far our favourite restaurant on the island. The service, the food were second to none. The owner was so present every time and extremely attentive and kind. The waiters are all nice and professional. The wine selection is excellent, with some amazing bio wines to feast on. We cannot praise the food enough. We thought we knew a good parmigiana until we tasted theirs. The truffle pasta is otherworldly and the seafood risotto is the best we’ve tasted. The restaurant has a traditional Italian ambiance with calm music taking you to a true Italian culinary experience. Thank you for making our vacation the best! Very high price for the food and service from the waiter. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and stands out positively. Little food, the employee barely answered our questions or even looked at us. Not a 4.4 place in our opinion

Excellent dinner! Great variety on menu. We got the capri salad, lemon pasta with pomegranate, ravioli and sea bream with lemon sauce. Everything was delicious.

We went to have lunch in this restaurant where we tasted the lemon pasta which was excellent!!! The prices remain reasonable for the center of Capri and the meal was really very good. The staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat in Capri, don't hesitate. I recommend you try the lemon pasta!!
