06/11/2023: Great atmosphere, but prices too exorbitant for food that is nothing special. I ate well, of course, but for the prices I expected more. The house appetizer (mix of raw and cooked) is spectacular; I also took spaghetti with mussels and clams but the flavor was totally canceled out by the enormous quantity of garlic inside; the sword rolls were nothing special, in fact too dry. Maybe the choice fell on less than excellent dishes, but I hope to change my mind next time I return

07/04/2024: Scilla seafront, the location speaks for itself. Dated but welcoming atmosphere. The food isn't bad, I ate some excellent spaghetti with squid ink. Qualified, friendly and helpful staff.

19/05/2024: Disorganized, the impression is that they are arguing among themselves, with €12 for just the cutting board, I would have expected something more generous. Just a snack. No receipt.

05/04/2024: Although there was considerable confusion, we were served in an acceptable time. The tables are outdoors on the main street of Chianalea. We ordered the tasting platter, the Calabria Slowfood dish and a simple focaccia to accompany, all good. It is a valid alternative for lunch if you are in the area for a walk.

11/03/2024: Fantastic experience at this top notch restaurant. Starting from the service, very professional but which made us feel pampered and perfectly accompanied the exquisite dishes. We really appreciated the quality and the fresh fish, but the strong points of the place are certainly the hospitality and kindness of the owners. We will definitely be back to try other specialties!

07/04/2024: In occasione di un festeggiamento importante abbiamo puntato sulla bellezza del panorama di Scilla in una giornata splendida, e sulla cucina del ristorante da Pippo, un locale che sa di romanticismo. La scelta ha ripagato appieno le aspettative in termini di qualità, servizio, disponibilità e quant’altro. Le foto postate sono solo una parte delle innumerevoli pietanze servite a una tavola di 15 persone che alla fine sono state tutte, all’ unanimità, entusiaste dell’esperienza gastronomica e non solo, offerta dai proprietari del ristorante. Un fiume di pietanze, tutte ben servite su piatti particolari e colorati, senza stravaganze ma con la concretezza che un ristorante a base di specialità marinare deve avere. Anche chi desiderava menu alternativo non è rimasto deluso.il tutto con velocità e qualità. E garbo. Vini, caffe e ammazza caffè…e poi il mare. Promossi a pieni voto.

28/04/2024: Located in an alley, not far from the square with the lift to go down to the seaside. Placed on the street (and potentially in the sun). It has various dishes to choose from, I tried the Spadafish sandwich and I must say very good and certainly fresh. Excellent service, everyone was very kind. Fair price. Advised.

06/05/2024: THREE STARS to be generous... Small but welcoming place, but the owners are less welcoming.... Food average 6, pre-cooked starters and some acidic and inedible foods, spaghetti with sea urchins good but super small portion ( Just 60g of pasta for 19 euros per dish!), MISERABLE and super limited dishes with high prices, very high indeed compared to what you eat and the quality of the food... classic place "for tourists" where you eat little, eat bad and you pay 3 times more than you should.... experience NOT TO BE REPEATED....night spent sitting on the toilet

03/05/2024: Locale molto curato in un contesto spettacolare. Anche il menù è uno spettacolo e offre portate a base di pesce. La qualità e la presentazione dei piatti è ottima, peccato che essendo solo di passaggio non avrò la possibilità di assaggiarne altri. In particolare ho apprezzato molto i ravioli di cernia al profumo di mandarino: deliziosi. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo Consigliato!
