Beautiful, very characteristic place

Great atmosphere, but prices too exorbitant for food that is nothing special. I ate well, of course, but for the prices I expected more. The house appetizer (mix of raw and cooked) is spectacular; I also took spaghetti with mussels and clams but the flavor was totally canceled out by the enormous quantity of garlic inside; the sword rolls were nothing special, in fact too dry. Maybe the choice fell on less than excellent dishes, but I hope to change my mind next time I return

A pleasant discovery, when we went to Scilla for the first time we entered this fishing village (chianalea) while walking we stopped at patriarch food... fabulous place, you eat on a wooden platform above the sea with the sound of the waves they hit the pavement of the houses, this alone is worth the cost of the dinner (very humble among other things) without a reservation they let us sit (critical moment it was pouring) they prepare the table for us in 5 minutes they make us sit down, they accept 4-legged friends very good dinner simple typical of the place.. delicious fish (I recommend the house starter). Starter, gluttonous parcels, grilled swordfish, French fries, coffee, water and two glasses of wine, total cost 74 euros... I highly recommend it if you're passing through those parts. You get worse place if are a tourist. If you speak Italian, you get better place

Cenare sulla terrazza che poggia sul mare a Chianalea sicuramente aiuta. Se poi si è accolti dalla simpatia professionale della proprietaria, il personale è giovane e cordiale e i piatti sono molto gustosi, allora la cena e la serata girano subito per il verso giusto. Tutto buono, ma una menzione particolare va ai paccheri alla ghiotta. In accoppiata con il calice di Cirò. Siamo stati proprio bene.

Ci siamo trovati benissimo! Cibo fresco e buono e proprietari gentili e location incantevole, sul mare.

Highest quality swordfish. The Spada crudo is recommended, truly excellent.

Il posto è incantevole. Servizio buonissimo. Cena di pesce ottima. Sono i professionisti del pesce spada (e non solo. Il top è la pasta con uova di pescespada. Mi sono trattenuto nel fare il bis. Grazie.
