Trattoria Nonna Rosa In Bologna

Among the best trattorias in Bologna where you can eat excellent Bolognese food. The place looks like a place to feel at home, with many photos hanging on the wall and various 80s style decorations. The menu has a lot of choice and all dishes are made with care and have excellent quality. If you are not from Bologna I recommend you take the Bolognese cutlet, the only place where you can taste it done well. If you are from Bologna, rest assured that every dish is 100% good, you won't make a mistake in choosing. They also have an excellent selection of wines and if you are undecided you can ask the waiters who will give you good advice. The only flaw: you have to book a little in advance (at least 1-2 days before) otherwise you risk not finding a place, in any case even a last minute attempt can make you find a free table for a reservation that has been cancelled.

My boyfriend and I were regular customers of this restaurant (the tagliatelle with mushrooms, the crostini with mortadella foam and the Bolognese cutlet were very good), however we decided to stop going there after every time we went we were treated bad from one waiter in particular who is the only one among his colleagues to be grumpy with customers, answer badly and throw the plate on the table. I'm not the type of person who gets angry when waiters aren't at their best because I understand that it's a stressful and chaotic job, but at the same time spending 70 euros every time to be treated badly by a waiter who seems to hate customers , and it almost seems like he enjoys answering you badly, it doesn't seem correct to me. The other kids, especially the girl with red hair, are always very friendly and kind. I would add one more thing: the last time we came I tried your carbonara and I think it is an unthinkable dish for a restaurant that makes good food its trademark, a truly mediocre dish that I would avoid offering with zero bacon crispy and floating in oil, and we paid a lot for it too!

Nice place that is not very noticeable from the outside. Good food with a special mention for the Bolognese cutlet, truly excellent. A negative note was the excessive invasiveness of a waiter who constantly inserted himself into the conversations that were being had at the table, even making inappropriate jokes.

Truly traditional cuisine with tortellini in broth which were really very good. Too bad the desserts aren't the best. Interesting wine.

Undeniably excellent quality food, even if the first one not sautéed in the pan with the sauce is not up my alley, it was truly of excellent quality, as was the second one! 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 coffees and a quarter of wine €91 In line with what I would have expected.

Historic trattoria with a more modern style. I wasn't crazy about the lasagna, it didn't have much seasoning and lacked oomph. The dry passatelli with fondue and truffle are much better. I'll have to go back to try other dishes! Friendly and helpful service.

Non ho più parole per descrivere come si mangia. Ma cosa è la Gramigna Salsiccia Zafferano e scaglie di Grana. Godete con le foto o godete andando da Nonna Rosa.

Locale tradizionale bolognese un pò fuori dal centro storico. Raggiunto grazie al consiglio di gente del luogo. Devo dire che ho fatto il miglior pranzo tipico dei miei tanti bolognesi. Primi piatti ottimi e abbondanti. Ho mangiato i migliori tortellini in brodo mai mangiati. A seguire crescentine da concorso e cotoletta alla bolognese con cui davvero hanno vinto i concorsi. Staff cordiale e ambiente accogliente. Prezzi (mi dicono i locali) molto buoni rispetto alla media locale che si è enormemente alzata negli ultimi anni.
