Curious!!! Let me start by saying that I am a driver. I travel a lot for work. I am not the classic restaurant driver but I like to eat... like all of us.... Stop at Sasso Marconi…. Expected opening 7.30pm... First impression of the place very dull... empty place. Without ordering appetizers!!!! FIRST FETTUCCINE BOLOGNESE TO BE CENSORED...second a frozen chop because it was too cooked on the outside, raw on the inside, true Andrea.....I don't look at...,,the price if quality satisfies...deserted place...who knows why...,..., cheese covered from tinfoil so as not to show the brand !!!!!

Restaurant review. Very positive experience. All dishes delicious, service friendly and attentive. Their tagliatella with ragù is super, as is the garganello served with a little show in a wheel of parmesan. Bill in line with how much/what eaten and excellent service. I will definitely be back!

We ate at the restaurant without staying overnight, the dishes are tasty, excellent flavor and generous portions. Wide choice of first and second courses with even vegetarian dishes! Perfect service and very friendly and helpful staff. Private parking of the venue and convenient location from Sasso Marconi

Point of reference for the specialties of Emilian cuisine and for the generous welcome of the restaurateurs of this enchanting landscape of the Bolognese hills. Traditional dishes from the highest quality raw materials, cooked and served with profound professionalism and knowledge and kind and sincerely welcoming manners. In all my travels I have never eaten such thin pastry and so resistant to cooking, such a tasty and light broth, such special cold cuts in terms of cut and taste. Perfect overnight stay upon waking up to a personalized breakfast with rare homemade tarts and croissants. Modest and honest prices. Outside is an expanse of peace in the shape of a hilly forest for a real escape.

I stayed in this hotel last night due to an unexpected event (the car left us stranded). Very clean and comfortable room, rich and very good breakfast, super friendly staff. All this in the low season without notice with check in at 3 am. I highly recommend it.

Il ristorante si trova all'interno di un hotel a tre stelle, raggiungibile dopo un paio di chilometri dall'uscita autostradale di Sasso Marconi. L'arredamento appare datato. Ho optato per le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, ma sono rimasto deluso: i funghi erano al di sotto delle aspettative e le tagliatelle risultavano poco cotte e poco legate al condimento. I prezzi sono alti considerando la qualità del cibo offerto: 15 € per quel piatto di tagliatelle non ci vale.

Pranzo tra amici, accolti con sfisioserie emiliane ( crescente piccole, cubetti di mortadella e pane fatto da loro anche ripieno, ovviamente non messo sul conto) personale educato e cordiale. Primi piatti saporiti idem i secondi di carne ottimi. Un po' sopra la media i prezzi.

24/05/2024: My boyfriend and I were regular customers of this restaurant (the tagliatelle with mushrooms, the crostini with mortadella foam and the Bolognese cutlet were very good), however we decided to stop going there after every time we went we were treated bad from one waiter in particular who is the only one among his colleagues to be grumpy with customers, answer badly and throw the plate on the table. I'm not the type of person who gets angry when waiters aren't at their best because I understand that it's a stressful and chaotic job, but at the same time spending 70 euros every time to be treated badly by a waiter who seems to hate customers , and it almost seems like he enjoys answering you badly, it doesn't seem correct to me. The other kids, especially the girl with red hair, are always very friendly and kind. I would add one more thing: the last time we came I tried your carbonara and I think it is an unthinkable dish for a restaurant that makes good food its trademark, a truly mediocre dish that I would avoid offering with zero bacon crispy and floating in oil, and we paid a lot for it too!
24/05/2024: Among the best trattorias in Bologna where you can eat excellent Bolognese food. The place looks like a place to feel at home, with many photos hanging on the wall and various 80s style decorations. The menu has a lot of choice and all dishes are made with care and have excellent quality. If you are not from Bologna I recommend you take the Bolognese cutlet, the only place where you can taste it done well. If you are from Bologna, rest assured that every dish is 100% good, you won't make a mistake in choosing. They also have an excellent selection of wines and if you are undecided you can ask the waiters who will give you good advice. The only flaw: you have to book a little in advance (at least 1-2 days before) otherwise you risk not finding a place, in any case even a last minute attempt can make you find a free table for a reservation that has been cancelled.

Trattoria Meloncello

23/05/2024: What do you expect from a Trattoria in Bologna? Exactly This. the place is typical, you can breathe typicality in the walls, let alone in the menu...... The jewel in the crown is the rigorously homemade pasta for the second courses, I hope to be able to return to talk about it, because after a BIS of first courses (tagliatelle and cream tortellini) I concluded as dessert with a plate of tortellini in broth. the thick and slightly al dente pasta is absolutely not a flaw for those who know the cuisine, perhaps you may like it more or less but there is certainly no question that with that ragù and that broth, the pasta was prepared in the right way. Tried it for an occasion at the theater, a pleasant surprise.
18/05/2024: Wonderful first courses. Rustic atmosphere, typical of a trattoria. For me a certainty
