Starting from booking I found friendly and helpful staff. Easter Saturday lunch 6 adults and 3 children. From the appetizer to the dessert, through wonderful first courses and the meatballs in amatriciana sauce which are superb. Reservation necessary. Highly recommended

Quality of simple but well-made traditional dishes...very easy going and very pleasant, the place typically frequented by Romans. Very booked. We were served by a very quick and courteous waiter. The pleasant owner.

Beautiful place, not only for the quality of the food but also for the kindness and ability of the service. The staff is always attentive and friendly, not to mention the quality of the dishes... highly recommended, 5 stars (and even more) deserved.

Traditional Roman cuisine. It felt like a family dinner, with extraordinarily good dishes. Giuseppe in the dining room satisfies you in everything. Super recommended. For Roman tripe there aren't enough adjectives to describe it

Piatti semplici eseguiti correttamente ma niente di più. Degli antipasti dimenticabili, dei primi tipici romani buoni. Il tutto diventa una cena dignitosa ma non tanto da farti venire la voglia di tornarci ancora

A circa 300m da Castel Sant'Angelo si trova questa tipica trattoria romana. I primi piatti della tradizione sono fantastici: spaghetti alla carbonara, all'amatriciana, alla gricia, cacio e pepe. Molto buona la bruschetta ai porcini e il vitello con contorno di patate. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

21/05/2024: The bucatini amatriciana and the carbonara were very good and plentiful, even if the egg should have been cooked more. The steak with baked potatoes is good, the veal is poor and tough. Friendly but rather slow service. Cozy and clean place.
19/05/2024: Beautiful place ! Full professionalism of the service, the waiters are all older Italian men, so the atmosphere is amazing, the bustle of the Roman street is mixed with the aroma of wonderful dishes! I 100% recommend it!!!!

25/05/2024: Suggestive location with pergola and iron tables outside and elegant and comfortable inside with comfortable seats and more sophisticated furnishings. Friendly, trained, attentive, non-intrusive staff. Tasty and well-plated dishes, special mention for the duck speck, the cod lomo all'arrabbiata and the hot zabaglione. Experience to be repeated, very positive.
22/05/2024: Sublime experience, excellent food, really nice environment with very kind and professional staff. Strongly recommended!
