Trattoria al Pirio In Torreglia

Perfect place for an atmospheric dinner. Nestled in the hills, ideal for couples but also with friends. It deserves 5 stars for the view overlooking the town of Torreglia. I recommend trying dinner for a romantic evening. Despite the location the prices are really good.

A worthy place both for the quality of the refined and particular food and for the always punctual service, without forgetting the wonderful view from the internal terrace that enchants you.

Al Pirio is a restaurant nestled in the Euganean hills just above the Villa dei Vescovi. The place is very welcoming and well prepared. The view from the dining room is priceless. The food is amazing. It combines innovation with tradition. the fried tripe is special (and I don't like tripe). In our case the waiting times were a little long, but the staff knows how to make the wait pleasant.

I was certainly wrong to go for Sunday lunch....I had good memories of this restaurant....

Courteous service but too much "confusion" in the dishes and in the environment. Too bad, because the location is beautiful.

I always gladly return to this place, which combines a splendid view with a warm and discreet welcome and a cuisine capable of blending traditional dishes with interesting and intriguing flavors and aromas. On Saturday evening I let myself be tempted by the appetizer of crispy octopus on carrot puree with Aperol. Unfortunately the octopus was dry, practically dehydrated, sprinkled with breadcrumbs (?) which accentuated its dryness. A few splashes of carrot puree (the Aperol was not perceptible) and a few teaspoonfuls of onion jam. All the ingredients in minimal quantities, spread out on plates, making it really difficult to distinguish and blend the flavors. For the second course I chose the roast beef with citrus ginger sauce, raisins and Brazilian julienne. The slices of roast beef were very thin and few, the citrus ginger sauce was excellent (also in a decidedly small quantity) while the center of the plate was occupied by the Brazilian salad and bean sprouts, devoid of any seasoning. As usual, the choice of wines was excellent. A bit of disappointment, which I hope to be able to compensate for on a future occasion. I returned with friends for dinner and with real pleasure I noted that the menu and the quality of the dishes are once again "at the top". Dishes with never banal combinations, but surprisingly pleasant on the palate. For more traditional customers there are also traditional dishes from the Euganean hills and the menu also offers dishes for vegans. "Embarrassing" wine list in the positive sense of the term (you are spoiled for choice among the best wines from all areas, but I recommend tasting the proposals of the Euganean cellars). The service is always impeccable and the welcome and assistance are friendly. For those who have never been there, in the evening the view over the plain as far as the eye can see is a real spectacle, but even those who have already been there are enchanted

Come da titolo, la Location è veramente bellissima, con un panorama molto affascinante sulla pianura sottostante... Il menu l'ho trovato un po' azzardato, nel senso che c'erano tanti piatti proposti con abbinamenti un po' audaci... possono piacere o meno, a me non attiravano proprio!! La qualità dei piatti che abbiamo preso, è stata certamente alta, ma alto anche il prezzo, soprattutto in proporzione alla quantità servita.. Consiglio di evitare i dolci, ottimi certo, ma per le fette "mignon" servite, il prezzo è esagerato!! Tengo comunque una media di 4 stelline su 5, perchè il personale si è dimostrato attento e sempre disponibile, e cmq la qualità dei piatti è stata apprezzata. Ovviamente questa è la mia opinione personale!!!!!

Sono sempre molto felice quando trovo ristoranti che si ingegnano per inserire nel menu piatti vegani non semplici e che non fanno nessuna invidia ai piatti non vegani. Esperienza super, già stata due volte e spero di ritornarci con il nuovo menù. Tutto buono dall'antipasto al dolce
