SERRANOS In Torino

I am Spanish, and everything I have eaten has truly tasted like what I could have been served in any bar in Spain. If you miss our food or want to try it, this is a good place to do it.

I don't usually change reviews or even ratings, but in this case, unfortunately, I will. The place that they introduced me to and where I am, in fact, we have returned several times, probably no longer exists, I think it has changed management. Saying that the food is bad is unfair and would not be true, but the "goodness" of the dishes is not comparable to the taste and flavor I remembered. In particular, a dish that I found delicious and for which I willingly returned, the heuvo rotos, is, to my disappointment, a dish that at least here I will no longer have. From a balanced and well-blended set of ingredients it has practically become a dish of potatoes, which is unclear whether baked or fried, perhaps frozen even if not indicated on the menu, as with all the other dishes that contain them. Of the generous quantity and pleasant taste of the green peppers, a fundamental ingredient here, as well as the delicacy of cooking the potatoes, all that remained were three or four almost invisible green strips and of the potatoes I can only say that I was unable to finish eating them. The rest of the discreet dishes arrive at a rather particular speed, let's say strangely very fast, moreover in a "scattered" order (a plato before the tapas for example), with a quantity of dishes left on the table that forces you to gather them yourself if you want to continue to be able to eat them, waiting for someone to show up to finally take them away. And in the end you are used to being asked if you would like a dessert or a coffee, usually, not that you get up and start paying to leave and as for us perhaps never come back. It's unfortunate because the good will is there and it shows, but it alone isn't enough to carry on a place like this.

We were for the second time for Sunday lunch at Serranos and for the second time we ate an excellent paella. A mixed version and this time fish. Besides the paella we had some tapas and some dishes. I must say all freshly cooked and with good raw materials. The price is average for almost all dishes. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Aperitivo onesto a 5€ con calice e 3 tapas

Davo ammettere di essere un buon amico dello Staff, ma il mio parere non si basa certo su quello. Cibo, servizio e ambiente sono semplicemente spettacolari, e qui non c'entra minimamente se li conoscevate già oppure no. Da Serranos si sta bene. Punto e basta. Simple as this.

Bel ristorante ma piccolo..merita di essere più grande

Great location in the center of Turin, with delicious Spanish food. Their paella is fantastic (sometimes you have to call ahead to reserve), their jamos is incredible and their sangria is delightful. Definitely a place to visit!

Locale grazioso con pochi coperti . Personale gentile e preparato . Noi abbiamo optato per la paella mista , e direi ottima e preparata con i tempi giusti . Ottima la sangria e la crema catalana. Promosso

Cibo molto molto buono, prezzi assolutamente nella media (19€ a testa la paella) e 16 l’antipasto misto di tapas. Porzioni di paella non troppo grandi ma ottima, magari aumenterei leggermente il prezzo e la farei più abbondante, ma in ogni caso è deliziosa
