Such a lovely place tucked away and well worth it. We had a sea tasting menu and the value and quality was second to none. Very generous and friendly staff who made it a very special night - would strongly recomend!

The food is good with some hits (octopus salad, pistachio cake) and some misses (stuffed calamari). The service is fast and courteous. You might want to specify that you want a table in the main dining room rather than the adjacent room. However, the food is a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area.
Where I had an issue is with the wine. I ordered a bottle of Frappato that is normally around 15 euros retail and sold for 38 euros at this restaurant. I'm told that they are out of this wine but they will replace it with another. They charged me the 38 euros of the bottle I initially ordered for this new wine worth... 4.49 euros at retail!! That feels dishonest to me. I hope this was a mistake on their part and not a way to take advantage of a tourist. I'll never know...

Ristorante in posizione centralissima sulla passeggiata di Rapallo.
È vicinissimo alla zona dei posteggi. Il locale è accogliente e caratteristico, il personale gentile e disponibile. Il titolare simpatico.
il menù è vario e sfizioso su base principalmente Siciliana (con anche carne, non solo pesce) con qualche piatto ligure. Scarsa la varietà dei vini, però hanno il Grillo sfuso, che si sposa bene con il menù.
Si mangia senza tovaglia, ma su tavoli in ceramica artistica tipo caltagirone.
Nel complesso abbiamo mangiato abbastanza bene, ma un po' "pesante".
Particolarmente buona la caponata e il calamaro ripieno .
La pasta alla Norma eccessivamente annegata nel sugo (da riprovare in stagione di melanzane).
Chicca finale lo zabaione fatto al momento al tavolo (leggerissimo e molto scenografico) anche se personalmente lo preferisco fatto con il marsala rispetto al passito.
I vestiti ancora il giorno dopo puzzavano di frittura, è da rivedere l'areazione del locale per i tavoli più vicini alla cucina.
Sono disponibili anche cibi da asporto.
Rispetto alle recensioni siamo rimasti un po' delusi. Ci aspettavamo di più. Ma lo riproveremo sicuramente.

We found out this sicilian restaurant by chance, in a zone in Rapallo full of restaurants. That was an incredible choice. Their declaration, ‘ una famiglia che cucina’ says it all. The atmosphere was a lively and friendly one. We taste Their ‘ Menù Degustazione a StrataMari’, which was an amazing one, Highly recomended, and also Their incredible fish soup, which much more fish than soup. They cook incredible well. The ‘puppo’, and the ‘pasta’ where both amazing. Please, Don’t Miss Their ‘tonno in Crosta di Pistacchio’, it is a must. The sicilian Cannelo dessert was as well outstanding. All in all an amazing experience.
