We went for lunch yesterday, after a small trip to Carpi. The Carpi restaurant and delicatessen is a little jewel, cared for with love and attention. Despite its small size, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for a quiet and pleasant lunch. The restaurant managers were exceptional. Their kindness and availability made the experience even more pleasant. They told us exciting stories about the dishes we were enjoying (tortellini in particular) and about the history of the place, revealing in their stories a careful and meticulous preparation of the recipes. The location of the restaurant, very close to the Castello rei Pio, is a great advantage. Being close to the center, it is easily reachable on foot from the city's central square. A special mention goes to the smoked ribs, they were a real surprise. Their rich flavor and juicy texture make them a spectacle for the palate. Absolutely must try!

Everything was good and cared for from starters to desserts. I really liked the tagliatelle cooked at low temperature. The Sangiovese recommended by the innkeeper is also excellent. Pleasant environment.

Sulla base delle ottime recensioni ,dei mostri amici di milano per una serata in zona hanno prenotato e devo dire che ci siamo sentiti come a casa, titolare e personale molto preparato nel raccontare il menu, cibo fresco e ottimo, prezzo nella media, tre primi, tre secondi un contorno due dolci due caffe normali uno corretto, due bottiglie di acqua e una di vino 140 euro, torneremo sicuramente consigliato
