Nice as a characteristic Sicilian location, also good typical Sicilian food

As always, excellent service, typical Sicilian flavours...

I believe that a judgment expressed on the experience had at the Easter Monday lunch would not be correct. On paper there were certainly good dishes but when you cook for hundreds of people the result risks not being the best and I think that's what happened. Overly savory sauces, overcooked potatoes and meat made this a lunch to forget. It is clear that my final opinion will be expressed only after returning to it in less chaotic moments. A mention goes to the very fast and precise staff. Another mention goes to the beautiful location.

Sulla strada provinciale che dalla splendida Belpasso porta sull'Etna, si trova questo bellissimo ristorante ricavato da un meraviglioso e antico palmento del '700. Esso è composto da diverse sale, tutte caratteristiche e suggestive, con architettura e arredamento tipico siciliano. L'esterno, dove prospetta una facciata del palmento, e il caratteristico e magnifico cortile siciliano, o meglio etneo, con pozzo e tanto verde mediterraneo. Nell'insieme un luogo incantevole, essenza della tipica costruzione etnea. Attigua è stata costruita una grande veranda a vetro che ospita una grande sala, dove noi ci siamo accomodati per pranzare col seguente menù: antipasto tipico siciliano, tagliatelle con porcini freschi e datterino giallo, fusilli al ragù di maialino bianco e gel ai frutti di bosco, grigliata mista, dolci titpici e cannoli, zibibbo, vino e caffè. Che dire, quasi tutto buono, tranne i primi piatti con poco gusto, comunque tutto è preparato con prodotti di alta qualità. Locale molto curato e pulito, servizio e prezzo ottimo, personale disponibile e molto accogliente. Comunque consigliato, da riprovare!!

Ancora una volta invitato da amici ma stavolta il parere è più che positivo, dall'antipasto ai primi a base di funghi, ai secondi alle pizze e dell'ottima birra, tutto molto buono, presenti i ragazzi di sala e prezzi consoni a quello che abbiamo mangiato
