The best Gnocchi, Risotto, and Penne our family had ever had. Perfect. 🙌

I would say top place top food from crispy and fine pizza to excellent lake fish, both the pike and the baked rainbow trout and also the scallops

We had lunch 1 meter from the lake and ate the best Roman-style pizza, exceptional staff and an extraordinary owner who gave me a jar of chillies made in Calabria. Prices from times gone by, super honest and superlative quality SUPER RECOMMENDED

Had dinner here on the waterfront promenade last night. The food was delicious, the service was very attentive and super friendly. Can only recommend the restaurant! :-)

Place found by chance on the lakeside, courteous staff and modest prices (especially when compared to the rest of the places on the lake which are very expensive). If you eat outside you are just a stone's throw from the lake

Catullo restaurant in Garda: lights and shadows Dream location, but cuisine and service not up to par The Catullo Restaurant in Garda boasts an enviable position, right on the lakefront, with a breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The environment is refined and welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner or a family lunch. Unfortunately, our dining experience did not live up to expectations. The wait was really unnerving: we waited a good 40 minutes to receive the first two starters, which didn't completely convince us. The mussels alla tarantina were small and not tasty, while the other starter, a cooked and raw fish dish, was average. The first courses, however, partially redeemed us. The spaghetti with lobster was good and well seasoned, while the mixed grilled fish was decent, even if we would have expected larger portions and a higher quality of the fish. Finally, the mixed fry was the only course that fully satisfied us: plentiful and tasty. The staff was courteous and accommodating, but the service was a little slow, especially at the beginning. The quality-price ratio definitely needs to be improved. Prices are high, especially considering the not always excellent quality of the dishes. Ultimately, Ristorante Catullo has potential, but it needs to improve its cuisine and service to truly be considered a high-end restaurant. If you decide to dine at the Catullo Restaurant, book in advance, especially if you want a table overlooking the lake. If you are in a hurry, avoid going on weekends or during high season. Concentrate on the first courses and mixed fried dishes, which are the best dishes in the restaurant. If you are budget-conscious, consider the menu carefully before ordering. Were in Garda with the family in the second week of Easter. When we are in Garda we always go to Ristorante Catullo. For us there is no better restaurant. Great food and an incredibly human, friendly team. We look forward to eating with you again. Stephan, Melanie, Michelle, Vanessa, Sarah.

Friendly service, best location on the lake. Extensive menu with something to suit every taste. This year (2024) I'll be here again. The cuisine is even better, the service is still top - an absolute recommendation!
