Restaurante divino. Não tínhamos reserva ( recomendo fazer) mas o proprietário ao saber que éramos brasileiros deu um jeitinho… ele ama bossa nova. A comida foi perfeita e o atendimento também. Recomendo muito

We were welcomed very well, a place not only where you can eat very well but the family atmosphere makes you feel at home. The owner Pier is a very nice person to have a chat with, his son is equally smart. We took a legume pie in parmesan cream and it was amazing. The sweet and sour guinea fowl with plum and oranges has a unique flavour, the wild boar braised in Barolo with buckwheat polenta is of a quality you don't expect... it looks like a restaurant for tourists but don't be fooled because the cook is the owner and you can see the experience because all the food is of excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Prices are affordable. Inside it is all in a very charming and colorful baroque style. We fell in love

Siamo fare una passeggiata e visitare il borgo lungo il percorso ci troviamo l’insegna e vedendo le recensioni positive ci siamo fermati Abbiamo ordinato in 4 Due porzioni di bruschette ( tra l’altro nel menù erano previste 3 bruschette una pomodorini, una all’olio ed una con il lardo e ce ne arrivano due una pomodorini e una con il lardo) ma non mi son messa a disquisire Poi abbiamo ordinato 4 primi ( pici all’aglione che a mio avviso erano all’arrabbiata con aglio normale anche perché lo abbiamo trovato nel piatto e non era assolutamente aglione!) invece i ravioli toscani con fonduta di pecorino e zafferano davvero eccezionali Una polenta con cinghiale ( molto buona) è una tagliata 4 tiramisù Una bottiglia di Chianti Acqua Ricapitolando ( 2 bruschette 1 primo a testa e neanche abbondante e 2 secondi dolce) 45€ a testa… mi sembra un conto un po’ esagerato ma Alla fine eravamo tra amici non ci siamo messi a contestare la cosa più che mi è dispiaciuta chiediamo dopo il conto conversando con il proprietario molto simpatico 3 amari Ci da un amaro che lui stesso dice di essere invecchiato più che invecchiato direi molto pagare ! Usciamo e chiedo quanto avremmo dovuto pagare gli amari e ci viene detto 12€ La titolare in modo carino dice al marito di offriceli ( e a mio avviso era necessario dopo il conto salato!) Bhe ci dice :” vabbè dai invece che 12€ datemi 10€” ( sono comunque 3,30 per un amaro che stava lì aperto da secoli !) Ora la simpatia è vero che fa da padrone ma il voler un po’ approfittarsi dei turisti fanno girare un po’

Absolutely best meat in the world

Beautiful place in a corner of Montepulciano, we were welcomed by the very nice owner who made us feel at home! Delicious and quality food, top grilled Florentine steak!!

We had excellent food. We ordered pici carbonara with truffle and Gorgonzola gnocchi with truffle. Both dishes were out of this world with flavours! For dessert, we ordered their chocolate cake and their homemade tiramisu. The owner was also really nice, and we left with a good advice: “enjoy life!”

Excellent in everything, Mr. Pierluigi is a great host, friendly and histrionic. Thank you for the welcome, my children were very happy.
