23/05/2024: In Bologna you eat well in the center, basically wherever you sit, but at Pan8 you eat very well. The sandwiches are extremely filling and with excellent tasting products. You are very close to the other diners, but this is the common feature if you eat in Piazza Maggiore. The service is simple, but the staff are quick, friendly and the bill is brought out on a platter with a button of vegan dark chocolate, suitable for anyone. Very clean sanitary facilities. The only flaw, so to speak, is the slightly high cost of the beer which, not being artisanal, seems excessive to me to pay €5.50, but it's still in the center of Bologna so it's okay. Highly recommended, especially the "simple" mortadella, buffalo mozzarella and pistachio cream.
