19/05/2024: A new favorite! This is hands down the best restaurant in the surrounding area. We have lived in Tuscany and Umbria for over 3 years and this is one of just a handful of places that stand out as above others. Four of us had dinner and had the appetizer of prawns wrapped in phyllo, baccala "confetti" over pumpkin puree (wow!), pici pasta with aglione sauce...topped with a whole burrata, tagliatelle with rana pescatrice, and the baccala entree. Finished with crema catalana flambe. The baccala was a generous size portion, but more importantly the quality of the preparation was amazing. Everyone loved their pastas also. We will be going back often !
14/05/2024: We stopped for lunch while traveling. The pici with white Cinta Senese ragù were extraordinary, as were the fettuccine with mushrooms and sausage, light fried fish.
