Venerdì 5 gennaio ore 16 in giro x salerno vediamo un una decina di persone in fila in attesa della apertura. Alle 16 in punto apre un signore tutto assonnato. All interno tutto buio. Poche paste nella vetrina. Un unico signore a servire. Mi dico che tristezza eppure il posto è molto elegante con un arredamento che fa vedere i fasti di un tempo testimonianza sono gli articoli dei giornali appesi alle pareti. Tutti chiedono la scazzetta (anche da riportare) tanto che quando arriva il nostro turno è finita e ci dice che non riesce. A quel punto ci buttiamo su una sfogliatella che devo dire ottima. La qualità c'è meriterebbe un pochino di attenzione la cura del locale per tornare ad essere quella di una volta.

Mi aspettavo sicuramente di più da questa storicissima pasticceria nel cuore del centro storico e del passeggio si Salerno! La sfogliatella riccia non era male ma non eccezionale; altre paste, seppur di grandi dimensioni e generosamente farcite, mi sono sembrate poco gustose, senza alcuno sprint. Locale abbastanza scarno, prodotto non cattivo ma piuttosto "piatto" e prezzi non bassi.

We went by the previous reviews and asked for the “witch cake”. The owner did not seem to know about the name so perhaps it’s something guests have come up with. Regardless, we were able to find the cake and have it and it definitely lived up to the expectations.

For me the best pastry shop in all of Salerno! Unrivaled sweets, from the Cardinal's Scazzetta to the Sacher, it is very difficult to decide what to choose!

Bene, ho preso una sfogliatella ( era buona ) , ma l' accoglienza lascia a desiderare.... Il locale e l ubicazione dello stesso potrebbero consentire tutta un altra frequentazione. È cupo e triste , senza tavolini.....

I went back this morning after many years. The priest's scazzetta is always good (although I remembered it being softer in the lower part of the sponge cake and today it seemed a little dry). I also took a lemon delight (excellent) and two puff pastries (shortcrust pastry and curly) which I will try this evening. Scazzetta is a dessert that absolutely must be tried, a peculiarity of the city.

15/03/2024: I had ordered some pizzas for 8pm, I showed up at the pizzeria at 7.50pm to collect the pizzas, and they made me find them already in the window, when I brought them home, they were cold and dried up. I'm sorry because I've always had pizzas there, and lately I haven't liked them anymore. I hope next time for better feedback
