Unexpectedly we feel found in the Osteria where we found a welcoming and super pleasant atmosphere. Osteria along the Via Francigena, an excellent stop also for pilgrims. Coming from Buonconvento a Piedi we booked for lunch and it was a very pleasant break. Excellent pici with ragù, wine and homemade desserts.

We had 16 people eat, all satisfied. The fabulous pici cacio e pepe, the excellent tagliatelle with meat sauce, the generous portions. Fast service and lots of kindness. The owner Fabio, very nice, also offered us a Sardinian liqueur of his own production at the end of the meal. EXCELLENT quality/price ratio.

Non esiste un menù alla carta ma ha la possibilità di scegliere tra 4/5 sughi per i primi e 2 secondi (almeno per le 2 cene che abbiamo fatto noi) ottime le tagliatelle al ragù , comunque abbiamo mangiato e bevuto bene e speso il giusto, il locale è un'osteria ma ben curata i proprietari simpatici e alla mano.

01/06/2024: Small but very tasty noodle shop. The boss made fresh pasta for us, cooked it and brought it out even though it was already closing time. Really very good at a low price. Gladly again. Suitable for vegetarians to eat in or take away.

Ristorante Il Borgo di Vescine

18/05/2024: An unforgettable place starting from the wonderful views and service. From the first second, my husband and I felt cared for. Comfort. Service at the highest level. Excellent breakfast, everything is fresh and very tasty. The rooms are very interesting, you feel like you are in a castle. Very clean. I especially liked the restaurant on site. I have never seen such an atmosphere, everything was so Italian and very tasty.
06/04/2024: I spent five nights with my wife in Borgo Vescine. We are totally satisfied with the location, the hotel village and the service. We had one dinner here and the food and wine was fabulous. You are in the middle of the bush and you are totally immersed in the nature of Tuscany. Also the location is very convenient, by car you can reach most places in Chianti within 30 min. I also got a souvenir from the owner when we checked out, of course a bottle of Chianti wine :) Because it’s in the country side, be aware of small insects in your too, like ladybugs and beetles.
