Inn/Osteria in the hills of Modena, quality raw materials, excellent Lambrusco wine and tasty on the palate, I recommend pumpkin gnocchi and sausage ragout, porcini mushroom polenta, walnuts and caciotta, spelled tigelle and local cured meats with local cheeses. Excellent location among the green hills.

Excellent menu...and qualified staff...I recommend!! Village for excellent relaxation...

We have been here for lunch several times. I cannot rate the hotel because we did not stay. We always come back here with pleasure and with the certainty that we will have a great time. Quiet and familiar environment, very well looked after. Everything we have tried so far was really delicious, quantities adequate to finish the meal without feeling heavy but at the same time filling you up just right. We will certainly continue to return here. P.S. Especially on weekends and when there are holidays, I recommend booking in advance...

Bellissima giornata, perché non fare una gita con pranzo in collina? Il menù degustazione proposto per il giorno 31 gennaio (San Geminiano) dalla Locanda Marcella era molto allettante. Ogni attesa è stata super ripagata. Ambiente molto bello (casa in sassi tutta ristrutturata, bella presentazione della tavola). Servizio caloroso e famigliare. Pranzo ottimo in tutto, con particolare menzione per i tortelloni, crescentine e gnocco fritto, polenta in due varianti. Speciali anche i dolci, carta dei vini non estesa ma con prodotti ottimi del territorio. Il tutto condito con una cordialità speciale, anche nell’andare incontro alle esigenze della nipotina che era con noi (Grazie Dino). E il tutto come menù degustazione ad un prezzo realmente competitivo e super corretto (29 euro vino e coperto esclusi). Veramente bravi, continuate così. Torneremo presto.

Went for lunch today, had a mushroom tasting, what can I say, all the dishes were excellent 😋. The waiters were kind and friendly. Fantastic place with a spectacular view.

Per essere la prima volta ,mi sono trovato bene ...la lavorazione dei cibi in abbinamento con i funghi,buona .Quali/prezzo buona,da provare 😉

Ogni volta che si ritorna a Locanda Marcella ci si immerge in un'atmosfera accogliente, ricercata e dalle proposte culinarie sopraffini. Grazie alla chef Catia e alla cara Cinzia!
