In the center of Asciano you can find excellent Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses, not to mention the ciaccia... all very delicious. The icing on the cake is the welcome of the owners, a couple who are truly very knowledgeable about the food and wines they offer. My advice.....if you pass by Asciano stop at the Botteghina....you will thank me😊

È proprio una botteghino d’altri tempi con bancone di salumi, formaggi e prodotti di gastronomia, ma vi stupirà per gli ottimi cibi della cucina toscana. Noi abbiamo assaggiato il tagliere di salumi e formaggi, la ciaccia con saldissima e pecorino, quella con pomodoro e pecorino e la tagliata di chianina. Tutto perfetto. Anche i dolci sono homemade e buonissimi. Ottimi i cantucci caldi serviti con il vin santo, le crostate ai frutti di bosco e all’albicocca. Servizio veloce e ottima accoglienza. Torneremo!

Beautiful food and wine experience 🔝❤️we tasted wonderful local products from the Asciano area. A lunch break to remember and repeat when we return to the area. Luisa the owner was fantastic! Platter of exceptional cured meats and cheeses not to mention their delicious focacette 🔝 I ate the best cantucci of my life there. Warm greetings from Genoa to the owners. You deserve an excellent review.

A truly typical and authentic grocery store/restaurant. The owners only speak Italian but we manage to understand each other ;o) We ordered without really knowing what it was and we loved everything that was served to us. The owners are adorable. They even showed us around their cellar. We loved it !

Hotel La Collegiata

30/03/2024: Magnificent structure, it seems that time has stopped in the Collegiate. We were able to relax like nowhere else. Special thanks to the staff, Stefano was always available for every request and the breakfast was simply divine. We can't wait to return!
31/12/2023: Special architecture, quiet, with a large surrounding area and an excellent view.
