Very nice and calming terrace. A decent welcome, but a big disappointment when the dishes arrived which were in very small quantities for high prices. On the plate, there are still quite good dishes, but the quantity is almost provocative. The service also leaves much to be desired. After 15 minutes of waiting for 2 coffees, I asked for the bill understanding that our coffees would not arrive. But to the surprise, present on the bill. Cashing out without a thank you, a smile, or a goodbye. Throw the blue card on the table after cashing. very unfortunate for a beautiful place like this.

Beautiful spot under a vine covered trellis. The food is okay but a bit pricey. Service is good but nothing amazing about this place. They do not have pizza on the menu anymore.

Most certainly NOT a tourist trap! The best Spaghetti al nero di seppia I've ever had. Fun and nice waiters, beautiful terrace. Give it a go!

Owner, Giuseppe, was warm and personable, and authentic representing the family business for 53 years. They have an extensive wine list of local wines …highly recommend the pistachio ravioli.

Authentic place, real Italian style. The walls are covered with pictures of the owner brothers and world famous celebrities. We went there on a Tuesday night in April and the place was pretty quiet. Genuine, friendly and welcoming staff. Wine list is massive!!

This is our fourth holiday to Taormina. We always make sure to dine at La Botte. We enjoy not only the delicious food but also the ambience of sitting outside and people watching. The owners are so welcoming. Inside you will find so many photographs of famous people that have dined here for years. An absolute must when visiting !!! Oh and did I mention the food was so delicious ?!!!

21/11/2023: Vi besökte Paradiso Alacantra som inte ligger i staden men utanför par kilometer. Den ligger i en dal på en höjd med en brant uppfart från den smala landsvägen. Det är en stor byggnad med många sittplatser. Det blev en trerätters lunch med olika specialiteter. Huvudrätten blev den traditionella ” Gris vaden” Den var intressant! Roligt att få prova lite nya rätter!
05/11/2023: Ci siamo fidati delle recensioni e una volta giunti al ristorante ci siamo fidati del titolare. Ci siamo seduti fuori, abbiamo gustato con piacere un buono stinco con delle verdure di finocchio selvatico e un sughetto al pomodoro fantastico. Abbiamo mangiato le ribs, delle buonissime costolette con salsa barbecue e patate. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon vino rosso al calice. Conto per due persone con caffè e amaro e una bottiglia di acqua 58€.

21/05/2024: Exzellentes Essen in wunderbarer Atmosphäre. Hatten einen tollen Abend mit verschiedensten Geschmacksexplosionen. Würden kompetent beraten und durften uns mehreres teilen. Lecker von Anfang bis Ende.
30/04/2024: This delightful restaurant off the beaten path gets a 5 star Michelin rating from me. Best salad and octopus ever. Lovely Olive Garden outdoor patio and very friendly staff. Out of 3 restaurants that we tried in Lipari, Kashbah is top notch. Highly recommended!
