It represents the food and wine tradition of the Umbrian city. Behind the cathedral. To go there. I went there with my family in September 2006 when I enrolled at the University. I was fascinated by the beauty of the place, very characteristic in medieval style. The cuisine is very refined and recalls the dishes that were once eaten in the Perugian area. The service is very precise. The dishes are quite abundant and rich. The menu is full of meat-based dishes. It is a place that certainly does not go unnoticed.

[recensioni di Settembre 2023] Tra i vari posti in cui abbiamo mangiato nel nostro pur breve periodo a Perugia, sicuramente uno dei migliori! Ho molto apprezzato (secondo il mio gusto) la location e l'atmosfera! Il servizio è stato molto cortese, anche disponibile a dare informazioni, ad esempio avendo preso un antipasto di formaggi molto buoni, ci sono state spiegate caratteristiche e provenienza. Anche i primi, alcuni più classici, alcuni più sperimentali, sono stati tutti apprezzati. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è risultato nella norma. Credo che quando tornerò a Perugia probabilmente sarà uno dei posti in cui tornerò con più piacere!

Che dire... Buonissimo!! Una bella scoperta davvero! Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto di affettati, carbonara al tartufo spettacolare e un filetto di vitellone al tartufo e mi sembra porto, mondiale!

25/02/2024: Apollinare was a truly pleasant experience. This restaurant is located in the historic center of Spoleto, it is easy and convenient to reach even by car. The place is very intimate and elegant, it is dimly lit but this suits the overall atmosphere. As an appetizer I tried the typical local cod, very delicate and crunchy but not very tasty. Then we ate two first courses, duck plin, a particular type of pasta with an exquisite parmesan foam, and tortelloni filled with burrata with truffle and cherry tomato cream, both very good and tasty. For the second course we took a beef fillet with truffle, the meat was very tender and of excellent quality. The staff is very attentive and trained, but personally I found them a little cold in their relationship with the customer. Overall it is a good restaurant to eat good quality food.

27/03/2024: Really top restaurant👌, excellent service, local dish with local products, gourmet but not stingy on the portion 👌 The deserts are also very good, and a rather copious wine list, all for a competitive price. The hotel is also very good, especially the maintenance of the rooms for stays of several days. Another positive point, the breakfast, with a choice of cakes, fruit and lots of good things 👍🙏🇮🇹
