We went just yesterday with some acquaintances; me and my wife for the first time. There were six of us. The food is good and traditional.
We didn't have much: a round of small samples (a bit of ham, a spoonful of ricotta, two petttlecocks, a bit of chicory with broad beans, a small jar of cod mousse), a first or second course, two bottles of wine (not a supertuscans) and dessert; portions not generous (but fair).........total (lump sum) €35 each. I would say a little expensive!!
Then, too much confusion (we couldn't even hear our own voices) and a slightly dark environment. Dimly lit table (I want to see on the plate!).

Locale molto curato, nonostante la posizione decentrata. L' oste si prende cura degli ospiti consigliando cibo e buon bere (tante e invitanti le bottiglie in bella vista), come ben si conviene in un'osteria che punta a farti sentire a pieno agio.
Antipasti golosissimi (nota di merito per la ricottina!), ed in generale la cucina stupisce per una gustosa concretezza (ottima la minestra di cardoncelli, strepitosi i mezzi paccheri con zucca e salsiccia).
Secondi buoni ma non al livello dei primi (migliorabili soprattutto le braciole con verdure).
Servizio attento, conto 'arrotondabile' per concedere un'ultima coccola tra tante altre già ricevute.

Raramente ho mangiato così bene: non so dire cosa mi è piaciuto di più. Ad ogni portata sono stato colpito per l'alta qualità degli ingredienti e per la maestria con cui erano abbinati e preparati. Non saprei davvero muovere una critica sensata.
Ambiente curato, forse qualche decorazione di troppo. Bagni ampi e puliti. L'ingresso non è possibile alle persone in sedia a rotelle (a meno che ce ne fosse un altro).
Servizio attento e cortese.
Ci tornerò sicuramente, lo consiglio.
