Nice place. Typical Tuscan cuisine made with good products and lots of finesse. Very reasonable price for a tourist town. Perfect.

We had an amazing T-Bone steak and a perfect ravioli. We found the place very kids welcoming. The kitchen was slow that evening, but our waiter made every effort to compensate for the wait. It would have been a nice gesture to offer a complimentary dessert for the extended delay, though we might have hesitated to stay longer for it. 😉

Very knowledgeable and courteous staff, very good food, in particular I recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragù. Quiet location and a wide choice of wines. I would happily go back!

I give it three stars because they don't have beer. If you drink wine the place is perfect, the food is very good, but we brewers suffer drinking water

Locale discreto, atmosfera serena, menu e carta dei vini interessanti. Soprattutto i primi ci sono piaciuti molto, il personale è stato disponibile e cortese. Da provare!

16/08/2023: We had intended to go to Siena but every car park was full so headed out into the hinterland on a whim. Took some wonderful photos of the Tuscan hills and then felt hot and hungry....and this popped up. We have great burgers in NZ but the one here is as good as the best, if not better. Service was friendly and the beer cold. Can not recommend more highly if you are out and about in this area.

08/05/2024: Typical trattoria in the heart of Montepulciano. Excellent food, very friendly staff. Absolutely recommended.
07/04/2024: Unexpectedly delicious restaurant. Excellent mixed appetizer plate, far better than others we've tried around Montelpulciano. Pici pasta with meat sauce was great, as was the tagliatelle with mushrooms. Mixed green salad was a welcome bit of lightness in a city of heavy Italian food, the super high quality vegetables made it exceptional. Surprised to find something this high quality on a touristy street. Decent, if limited wine selection was decent, mostly local reds, very fairly priced. Pleasant waitstaff made good recommendations (slower than typical US service, but not in a rude way). If you can sit outside it's great people watching on Montelpulciano's main drag.
